My story
Hi, my name is Lisa, I have owned and loved animals all of my life, including rabbits, cats, dogs, rats, hamsters, fish and horses. I have a Jack Russell Terrier named Sam and a corn snake named Fluffy.
I was a student at Bishop Burton college for 4 years achieving a BTEC National Diploma Animal Care and a Higher National Diploma Animal Care (Zoology and Behavioural Science). Following on from my studies I have also worked in animal care in for 18 years.
Some of the services that Woodmansey Walkies and Pet Care Services offers are: Dog walking (individually and small groups), pet sitting/home visits for dogs/cats/small animals and reptiles (including feeding/letting out into the garden/pampering/cleaning out/administering medication are just a few examples of the services provided). I also take the more senior dogs for a relaxing sensory walk, taking in all of their surroundings and just generally enjoying a gentle stroll. I also cater for nervous or reactive dogs that want to take things at their own pace, working on a one to one basis, in a calm and relaxed experience.
I currently cover Beverley and the surrounding villages. I offer a free initial meeting to meet prospective clients and of course their lovely animals. Member of NARPS (National Association of Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers). I am fully insured, DBS checked, I have a Canine First Aid Certificate and have a completed a number of additional courses/seminars including Canine Nutrition and Feeding, I am also currently undertaking a Canine Communication Diploma.
