It's a while since I posted a video. Here is Roma off lead for a short time so I can check how well his Heal* Wait* recall* commands are working. I've been training these three commands together since autumn 2021, now let's sit back and watch Roma in action. Roma has had about a five week break from any training or treats at this point, so today I was really putting him on the spot. A long video, but I think it's worth it. Enjoy. 🍰😉

We have been in the fields with sheep and their lambs this week. Keeping our distance from the ewes and lambs, dogs on leads as always. I've witnessed many owners with dogs off leads alot in busy sheep paddocks, one throwing balls in to the sheep flock for fun. I really can't understand the mentality of some dog owners that think that it acceptable. Unfortunately my phone was dead but I have since bought three chargers and can assure you guys that I will be filming the next one and their car registration. Be safe, be mindful. Happy springtime. P. S I even had a moment to make a painting of Pendle Hill this week.

After speaking with the vets last night , my five year old chocolate labby is fading after just two weeks. This dog two weeks ago was healthy and energetic and full of life, in good condition no health problems , today I’m having to say my goodbyes, this because he drank from a bucket of rain water that a rat had peed in . Please listen and hear what I’m saying don’t let your dogs drink water from anywhere but his drinking bowl, puddles, ponds, other dishes outside shops NO ✋🏼any of these can contain leptospirosis and it is lethal, and it can be caught by humans too . DO NOT let your children play in dirty water outside. I wouldn’t want anyone to go through our last few days.

Today we found the actual birthplace of Alice Nutter who was one of the famous witches. Her father a builder, built the house in 1500's. We track down some unusual places. This is an ongoing project. 💚

So Callie spotted the farmer in his Land rover coming over the Moor and started barking, meanwhile, Max was wondering what all the fuss was about and started barking as well. He really didn't know what he was barking at but it woke him up and made him stop thinking of the high winds blowing in his wee face.
