Romas Heal* training.
It's a while since I posted a video. Here is Roma off lead for a short time so I can check how well his Heal* Wait* recall* commands are working. I've been training these three commands together since autumn 2021, now let's sit back and watch Roma in action. Roma has had about a five week break from any training or treats at this point, so today I was really putting him on the spot. A long video, but I think it's worth it. Enjoy. 🍰😉
Callie Keep guard of the ancestors chamber cairns, watching the farmer as he comes close.
So Callie spotted the farmer in his Land rover coming over the Moor and started barking, meanwhile, Max was wondering what all the fuss was about and started barking as well. He really didn't know what he was barking at but it woke him up and made him stop thinking of the high winds blowing in his wee face. All fun and Shinanigans by the fish stone chamber. 💚 🌎 🐟🐠🐟🐠🐟🐠🐟🐠😋🐠😋
Manners and bubble space.
Teaching Monty about my personal bubble space. When he sits under my treat bag, I take two steps back. Then allow him to have the treat.
Mixed training with Monty.
Monty's Full Monty mixed training video. The video is a bit all over the place, fun, training, manners, giggles... I just want you to see how in certain situations different commands are used. We do eventually focus mainly on Heal Training but manners also take up a lot of the video. Monty pops my protective bubble!
ROMA HEAL TRAINING DAY 2.
Roma, Heal Training Day 2. We are at the #howarthartgallery in Accrington in the rose garden. It's fully secure by fencing and gates. Perfect for off lead training. Watch how Roma switches from cheeky to perfection. He slips perfectly back in to #healtraining Heal Training.
Heal Training video. 2
#healtraining video 2. 20 minutes in to the training you can see Roma is really responding well to his heal training. We hit a snag when he finds a pee post, but on a clear run his heal Training is a success. Some training takes minutes, some takes months. Roma is really responding to his one to one training sessions. 💚
Heal Training.
Basic *heel walking video 1. training*/*#dogs reaction- #dogs correction*. The video is abit long but I put Roma under pressure by placing him is a busy park with lots of dogs. I intentionally keep the camera on so you can see his progress with the *#HealTraining technique*. All the months of training, sit/stay/leave/wait and other bits of training all come together in *reaction-correction training*. In this video we are '#healwalking' where I ask Roma to *heal walk* by my right leg. Roma picks it up fast until he sees a big #alsation Whoopswooo.noooooo.. I missed that one! 😂
Steady Down Hill training on poor ground.
In winter months I use the 'steady' & 'wait' commands when going over slippy wet muddy ground. Here I use it with dual training with Callie and Roma. I've not used it since last winter and the dogs have remembered it well. This is a old stone quarry trackway, you can see where the chains have dug in to the stone, this area is lethal in the ice. It's perfect training ground for the dogs as the ground is hard to manoeuvre on, making them think and work together. I think it's safe to say that Roma and Callie work well together. 🤔💚😁
Pretend to back at your dog and see his reaction! 😂
Happy New Year from Dawn's Dog Walking services. Here I bark at Roma to see his reaction and he kinda barks back. 💚🤣
LITTLE AND LARGE ON THE RUN
Off they trott, the Two Max's with poorly leg's! You'd ever guess they have leg problems.. 💚
Callies recall reminder... Session.
Recall training session with my dog Callie. Callie has a tends to run off in the forest or woodlands if she picks up a scent. So every few weeks I will do some recall training games with her to get her focus back and remind her that she must come when called. Just an hour training is enough to bring her focus back.
Sit & Stay
Sit & Stay recall, and puddle fun with Sir Maximus and Sir Roma. 💚
