Hi all! Hope you had a good Easter 🐣

I’ve got a lot of bookings for the summer already so in light of this, a couple of things to mention:

Firstly, thank you so much to everyone who has trusted me to look after your animals. It means a lot and I know it can be difficult to leave them with someone you don’t know, especially if you’re going away for the first time. I have so many repeat boarders now and it’s lovely to get to know them more and more each time!

Secondly, a little request from me. Not everyone may know, but I do have a full time job and another side job. I’m lucky that I get to work from home the majority of the time and therefore I’m able to run this business from home and be around for your animals. Bearing this in mind, it really makes my life so much easier if people are on time or keep me updated of their arrival times if they’re going to be late or early. Most of you are brilliant at this anyway, but it’s just to highlight that I do have meetings and plans and other commitments. If you’re going to be more than say 10/15 minutes late or early, please let me know. If you’ve given me a time bracket, ie 10am-11am, let me know when you’re leaving. It means I can be ready, have the gate open and not be waiting around unnecessarily. I’ve had a few instances where someone was meant to arrive at say 12pm, and I get a text at 1pm saying they’re running late and won’t be there til 2 or 3pm. I totally understand that things happen, but most of the time a quick text can be sent to let me know what’s going on. Once again, thank you for everyone who already does this!

Thirdly, I am reducing my capacity this summer, because last summer I just took on too much. I run this business predominantly on my own, with some help from family here and there. I was on the go pretty much non stop for 7-8 weeks last summer and had virtually no free time or rest, and as much as I love doing this and caring for your animals, I don’t want to burn myself out like I nearly did last year. I also want to make sure every animal has one to one time and I struggle to do that when I’ve got too many animals staying.

Finally, please be mindful when parking down my road that you are not blocking the road/the turn into the garages and please do not park in the spaces in front of the garages as they are allocated spaces to other neighbours.

As a reminder, all rabbits need to be vaccinated and proof of vaccination shown. 💉 this is for the safety of all the rabbits that stay.
