Just popping on to say Happy International Dog Day to all my favourite pooches! You are all so special to me and I can’t wait to see you from 5th Sept.
I couldn’t resist treating myself to these beauties in Anglesey yesterday - I even wear a green coat. All I need now is to buy myself a red bobble hat! Hehe.

When I set up Happy Hounds I hadn’t really thought about this devastating part of my job. I am sorry to say that Gizmo has passed away peacefully. Almost 16 years old, Gizzy has had a wonderful life with his family. We lost Cujo, his best pal, last year and today we sadly lost Gizmo. I have been walking Gizmo and Cujo since day one - the family have even moved house and can’t get rid of me! He leaves behind Toffee and Blue so I am so grateful to still have the rascals to keep me occupied!
I want to thank Gizmo, Cujo and their beautiful family for giving me that push to start Happy Hounds. I will be forever grateful to you guys. I am going to miss my little white furball friend very much 🤍🤍🤍

🐈 I was so excited to be invited back to see Blue, Quaver, Chester and Albus! 👏
They are utterly stunning Maine C**n cats and I love them to bits. You can’t see properly on the photos as to how big they are. They are as big as my Dotty dog and are so loveable and scrumptious! It was so good to see them again and care for them all. Each one with a very different personality - I feel I have really got to know them and their different needs.
Cheeky Quaver (the kitten) has grown so much since my last visit - he has recently had an op on his leg so I carried him off any high surfaces that the cheeky kitty had managed to climb. Hopefully he heals quick so he can be back to his usual sprightly self soon!
Olly just had to come to see them again after his first visit. He was beside himself when he walked in. Think he loves animals as much as his Mummy 🥰

🐈⬛ Hello Teddy! 👋
I visited Teddy while his family were abroad and he was a delight. At first a little apprehensive but after a day or two he really warmed to me and dashed down the stairs to greet me every day. I also looked after his hamster pal Cookie. He’s so cute and came out of his house when he heard me shaking his food.
It’s great to have a pet sitter coming in to your home while you’re away. It gives you peace of mind that your fur babies are in good hands and also that someone is keeping an eye on your home and giving you updates throughout your holiday.
Happy 9th Birthday to our wonder dog Dotty! Celebrating wearing my Mum’s pearls again after all these years 🥰
She’s made lots of doggy pals over this past year with me at Happy Hounds and is the top dog that gets on with anyone! ❤️

It was a bit overwhelming for Toffee and Blue at first meeting all their new friends. Toffee even tried to hide up my dryrobe 😂🙈 but now they have settled in just great. Well done puppies! 👏

I’ve got such a sweet tooth! I’m even gathering dogs with the names Fudge, Toffee… what will be next!? I do love a Toblerone 🤣🍫
Not seen Fudge for a little while and my god he shows the most affection. I feel so loved when he’s around. He pushed right in front of Daisy and tried to take all my attention but I secretly gave Daisy hugs too!
We practiced the “sit” command this week with the pups. They did so well. Toffee and Blue are growing at a tremendous speed!
The boys don’t like the rain so after days and days of yuck weather we improvised and had a change of scenery in a cosy cafe and small walk close by. We all loved it 😄
Tell Tales books is a favourite of mine - wonderful books to choose from and a nice hot coffee and cake - what more could you want! ☕️🍰
I’m missing these two super dogs! Bailey and Stanley welcomed me in to their home and we had lots of fun together while their humans were away 🥰❤️

This is Stanley and Bailey! 🥰 Stanley almost gave me a heart attack on my first visit as he was nowhere to be seen. His humans forgot to mention he likes to sleep right under his blankets all snuggly. I’ll add more photos this weekend of this gorgeous pair. I’m off to bed to snuggle in to my duvet like this…😴
