Jack Russell's have quite the reputation, usually rowdy and loud 😂 but Peeps is as sweet as he looks! He's the most gentle boy and loves his cuddles with me! Genuinely makes my heart all warm and fuzzy when I see him ❤

Today we said goodbye to my dearest Katy 💔

I have walked Katy Monday to Friday every single week for the past 2 years. She was a rescue who her owner lovingly took in and gave her the best last few years of life! She was an absolute character!

She was 16 years old, and she was the grumpiest old lady who barked at every other dog in the world 😂 I'm going to miss our walks together so much!

She was such a big part of my life and one of the OG Frontier Family members!

As delightful as that is for us humans, your dog could be at risk if it's walked for too long in temperatures too hot for it! 🔥

I already noticed today the heat starting to take action and we didn't even reach 20⁰c yet! That's why I'm posting this notice now, so you all have a good heads up as to what's coming in the weeks and months ahead! 🌞

Spaniel madness 🤪

Today I had Layla and Murphy out together on a woodland walk. Layla was off lead and Murphy was on the retractable lead for the first time today. At the halfway point just as we were about to turn and come back a young stag came wondering out the woods right in front of Layla. They both stared each other out for a few seconds before he turned to run away. To my surprise, Layla came straight back to me as soon as I called her!! I couldn't believe she didn't try chase the deer!! Super proud if her today ♡

THE VAN IS BACK!!! 🥳

So happy to finally have the van back after it being off road for 3 months.

To fill you in, it was running totally fine then one day just broke down. I had it towed to a local garage who told me it had something wrong with the engine but they don't touch engines. So then Andy (my husband) and I bought a tow rope and took it to another garage.

They did some tests on it and told me the whole engine was broken and needed replaced but the job was too big for them. So I had to source my own engine and find a garage who would be able to do the job.

I finally got it all sorted and had the engine sent to a garage in Airdrie and they picked up my van and did all the work last week. It's had so many new parts put in it it's practically a new van again 😂 it better outlive me!!

It's been a whole headache for months and at the start I had to switch up a lot of walks while I figured out what worked best with using the car. But I'm so glad to have it back now and get back to normal!!

P.s. here's Murphy and Mylo modelling for me in front of the van at the end of our rainy walk today haha

Murphy and Houdini ♡♡

This is the first these two have been posted on my feed. I took this photo today out on our walk. I've been working with Murphy for about 7 months now and Houdini since the start of the year.

Murphy is an absolute bundle of joy! I had to work pretty hard in the beginning to gain his trust but now we're best buds! He's full of excitement and always brings the most energy to the walks!

Houdini is the most chilled doggo I walk. He's an old boy and the biggest sook! He fit right into my Frontier family without any bother whatsoever!

Could I get either of them to sit still for the photo, not really 😂 but here's the best I've got of them haha

The prettiest girl sitting in the bluebells 😍

This is Jess, I've had the privilege of walking her for the past two weeks to cover for another dog walker while he's been on his holiday.

She is the sweetest girl, she's an 11 year old collie. I'm going to miss her company. Tomorrow is our last walk together 🥺

Been missing having this little guy around this week. Our morning walks, our snuggles on the couch and seeing him waiting at the livingroom door when I came home! Looking forward to seeing him again 😄

Finally got a photo of the big boy, this is Luath (Loo-ath). He's a Gordon Setter like his sister but he's much bigger than her. And he loves jumping up for hugs but I don't think he realises what size he is 😅

He's such a loving big boy, and super playful too! Love having him in the family 🐶♡

I had my second walk today with Lexi, we found a new trail which has already became my favourite walk ever! It's just woodlands and the river for as far as you can see!

I had her on the drop line today which I wouldn't normally do on the second walk as I like to build a trust first but she was already listening to my commands and constantly checking in with me so I let her go and I'm so proud of her! She constantly waited up on me and came back as soon as I whistled. Already can't wait for our walk next week 🤗 ♡♡

Meet Katy ♡

Katy is a 16 year old Labrador mix. Despite her age, she is so full of energy and loves her walks!! I personally love how smiley she looks all the time!

Her likes include treats, which she sometimes decides when she is due one 😂 she loves her walks, she has to say hello to everyone we pass and she loves a good sniff at literally everything!

Lottie ♡

This little gem is a Sprocker Spaniel and just over a year old. She is so full of energy and her tail is always wagging! She wants to say hello to everyone who passes.

Her likes include playing fetch, treats, running through every puddle she can find, chasing leaves that blow in the wind and saying hello to every other floof she passes!

Here's a little bit about me:

My name is Precious, I grew up in Glasgow just on the outskirts. From an early age I was interested in animals and nature and I have wanted my own dog(s) for as long as I can remember. When I first left school I had no idea what I wanted to do and ended up going to college and getting my hairdressing qualifications and worked in a salon for 3 years. But I wasn't happy there so I changed job, multiple times. I worked in retail, online and in store and changed again to cleaning services. I still never felt fulfilled with any of my occupations.

Eventually last year I took a leap of faith to start my own dog walking business, something I had wanted to do for a long time but lacked the confidence to do so. It was the best decision I could have made!! Every day I get to spend time multiple dogs, learning about their little personalities and what they love most. Even in the rain, hail and snow, we still have so much fun! I'll never look back!

And a little bit about the photo of me here, that was taken in a place called Husky Haven in Stonehouse. This photo was captured moments after my now husband proposed to me. He couldn't have picked a better place. We were surrounded by 30+ huskies when he asked the question! It was easy for me to say yes 🥰

Rebranded and Relocated 🐾

Welcome to the new page of Frontier Walks, previously known as Frontier Dog Walking

I have recently moved to the village of Law from Glasgow and therefore using this as an opportunity to rebrand

With this new start also comes a new page and website (link in bio) and many more exciting things still to come

I'm looking forward exploring my new area and meeting all the new puppers and hopefully introducing some to my Frontier Family ♡
