Meet Buster.
We finally got this poor boy in today. You wouldn’t believe it to look at him but he is only middle aged, possibly about six years old according to the vet. Painfully thin, missing fur, not neutered or microchipped, multiple wounds, a cut eye, broken teeth most likely from a fight or an RTA, an enlarged kidney and is limping. He was taken straight to the vets and will spend tonight at Hotel Linkswood, where tomorrow he will be neutered, microchipped, have bloods, a dental, an X-ray, have all his wounds attended to, a flea treatment and some much needed TLC.
He has been seen in the area in this state for a number of months, believed to be a stray but we have heard rumours that he might have an owner. If they would like to come forward we will pass their details on to the RSPCA. There is NO excuse to own a cat and leave him in this condition. If money is an issue there are three independent cat rescues in the area and I know for a fact that not one of us would have turned him away. There is also a national charity they could have contacted.
He is a very friendly boy who eats like he has never seen a bowl of food before. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the wonderful members of the public who ensured that he can get the treatment he so needs by bringing him to our attention.
Buster will give you all an update tomorrow after his spa day!
