After managing a successful sighthound rehoming centre in South Wales for several years, I returned to my home town of Northampton. Working in rescue was an amazing opportunity that enabled me to be a part of hundreds of dogs journeys into forever homes. My specialty during this time was to foster greyhounds with significant racing injuries and I supported the rehabilitation of many dogs with brok

en bones and amputations. I am experienced with;
high prey drives
lead/dog/people reactivity
transferred aggression
nervous/anxious dogs
sleep startle

Finding suitable care for our precious greyhounds is a worry for lots of us owners. As we know, they are sensitive creatures who love their home comforts! Many of us worry about putting our greyhounds in kennels while we’re away and many home boarders aren’t familiar with the unique quirks of the greyhound! I combine my absolute passion for the breed with sound knowledge & experience to offer a home from home holiday experience for you my pointy nose guests. I am also a qualified Canine Sports Massage Therapist. This unique area of study gave me a sound understanding of canine anatomy and of how debilitating many degenerate diseases such as Arthritis or Hip Dysplasia can be. Massage, much the same for humans can be hugely beneficial on many of the body systems and can support pain managements well as increase recovery times post op. Qualifications:
Diploma in Canine Sports Massage
Canine First Aid
Understanding Canine Body Language and Calming Signals
