I speak to a lot of pet owners who use these 3rd party sites such as Rover and Cat In A Flap so this is useful information whether you're a dog, cat or even small animal owner!

The most important thing is you as the pet owner do your checks on the care givers insurance and relevant licensing. If they haven't got anything in place, as much as they may be a lovely person, it's not worth invalidating your insurance! 🐾🙏

This weekend we celebrated the main man's 2nd birthday and would it be a birthday without a party, I think not! 🎊

For those of you that were here last year you know the drill, for all of Jax's new friends, humans are welcome to bring your own dogs to watch them play or you can book for them to come with us, please message me to book 😊🐾

❗ Dogs need to be sociable in a group setting, and no form of resource guarding as there are toys scattered around the play area ❗

New Friend Friday 🐾

The past couple of weeks handsome boy Felix has been introducing himself to all his new friends, how can you not love such a happy face 😍

From being quite shy in the beginning to now being off lead running riot with the spaniels, safe to say he's settled in just fine, lots of adventures ahead 🙌

HOT WEATHER ALERT ☀️

We are set to have some high temperatures over the next few days, which means our days may run slightly differently to normal 😎

🐾 Walks may be earlier than normal to beat the heat
🐾 Walks may be switched for home visits where necessary
🐾 Please remember if I do change or cancel walks, it's not for my convenience, it's for your dogs health

❗No dog ever died from missing a walk, but if they need to go out remember early morning, late evening 🙌

We're all VP supporters over here 🐾❤️

Very sad news tonight. 😞
Planning has been refused on the initial site and it has just come to light that we may not have permission to trade from Armadillo. This means our days may be numbered at VPs.

Obviously, my only mission right now is to find a new site to avoid total closure…. And quickly!

I honestly believe that we provide a hugely valuable service to the community and the thought of leaving patients without treatment, Owners without support, pets without food, hay snobs without the excellent VP hay, A Team without employment and losing everything I’ve fought so hard to build is simply not happening 😁

Although I appreciate there will be a lot of suggestions for sites, we need to find a building that has relevant trading permission, correct size, layout, parking, under the National Debt per month in rent and comes with a sc****ly dressed Ryan Reynolds as standard…. so not much.

Please PLEASE use us, support us …. because, quite frankly, you might miss my Facebook posts and tired ramblings……

Your dog can still have loads of fun out and about without damaging those joints 😄🐾

Ball throwers are FANTASTIC!!! For collecting urine samples from dogs, …. Yes, that’s about it.

Ball throwers otherwise are fondly called “guaranteed revenue streams” as they are very certainly going to be gifting you rather large, life long vet bills……

Good for my business but I’d rather see your pet unbroken in the first place.

Ball throwers/launchers …..
encourage your dog to run at high speeds with little to no warm up for their joints
….. encourages erratic sharp twists, turns and sudden braking which all put your dog at high risk of injury.

Scent work, drop retrieving, basic training… all great for busying brains without breaking limbs 🥰

My name's Jax and welcome to my crib... The model face came out in full force for these photos 👀🐶

We celebrated our 2 year anniversary in May and if you were around this time last year, we had an upgrade for our 1 year anniversary also (No this will not be a yearly thing, this is the 3rd and FINAL pet taxi 😂)

I just want to thank everyone for the past couple weeks while we had some 'minor' teething problems, but we are officially up and running for lots of exciting adventures in the new van!

🐾 Featuring my largest fur-baby to demonstrate just how much space the new crates have, she definitely approves! To say they're spacious is an understatement! 🐾

I know a lovely lady who is a Certified Pet First Aid Instructor and she is looking to expand the locations of her courses this year, this is open to both pet owners and other pet care professionals looking to update their qualifications 😊

Pooches n Pals is expanding and I'm on the lookout for a motivated, reliable team member to help me take the business up a gear👀

🐾Must loves dogs, the big ones, the small ones and the crazy ones!
🐾Must have a suitable vehicle - Ideally a van or big car for transporting dogs safely.
🐾Must have no issue with the weather or keeping clean - You will get rained on and covered in mud but that's part of the fun.
🐾Must be available Monday-Friday, hours to be discussed when applying – The hours could potentially work around another part time job, I have been there myself and made it work.

Dog walking is not an easy job, it's both mentally and physically challenging, but I wouldn't change my job for the world!
