Hello all just a quick one. It’s currently the 6 weeks holidays so I’m taking that time to spend with my boys before they both head to big school. I have also not been well so am making sure I get my health into gear before returning.
After the 6 weeks I’ll return with my diary ready to book in clients. As things have been very slow im hoping to get things picked up so would approximate all the shares and follows! 🫶🏻

Hello my lovelies!
I have cancelled all walks with clients this weekend due to the weather being extremely hot! It’s also meant to carry on through the week. So will also cancel day time walks. I’m willing to free up evening slots if the weather is cool enough.

Please remember with this weather…

❌ DONT walk dogs at high temperatures especially on paths/concrete. Opt for an early morning walk or late evening

❌ DONT ever leave dogs in the car in this heat. Their body temperature will rise and cause them to go into shock. Can lead to death.

✅ DO apply dog friendly sunscreen on the pups that have those special places that need it.

✅ DO keep them hydrated at all times

✅ DO keep them in shady spots in the garden and house. When outside provide shaded and cool spots for pups and encourage them to use the space.

🔆 TIP you can buy cooling Mats and summer shelters from places like B&M, Aldi and pets at home that don’t break the bank.

🔆 FREE way to cool dogs down is wet a towel and lie it on the floor for them to lay on.

Fact number one…
My fave animal is a penguin 🐧! I was extremely lucky to be able to get up close and personal to these beautiful creatures

Fact two…
As well as dogs horses have always been a massive part of my life. From shetlands to up to 20hh horses! Very lucky!

Fact three…
My second choice of pet from a dog would be a rabbit. Crazy right! I have 4 rabbits in my life. All litter trained. 2 of which used to free time the house and sleep on my bed 😂 they remind me so much of dogs because rather than zoomies they bink which is the same thing just with a few jumps 🫶🏻

🐾Treats (suitable for your dog)
🐾Water ALWAYS
🐾biodegradable poo bags (we love the environment and will carry these until a bin is found. Nothing annoys me more than bagged p**p thrown to the side 🙄
🐾Doggy first aid bag
🐾 waist strap. As well your lead I will also hook them up to waist in certain places I think needed (like roads) just to keep them extra safe.
🐾 spare lead. Always good to have a back up incase we see a loose dog or the original breaks
🐾 small towel. To clean up muddy paws
🐾 my business phone. For updates and owners/emergency contacts
🐾toys ⚽️
🐾 hand sanitizer for myself
