Hello! Just want to introduce you to Luna, Luna is a sibling of Thor & Otto. I first met Luna and her owner Tina mid August. I gave a couple of 1-2-1 lessons to Tina. I think at first she struggled a little, not having had a pup before, it can be quite daunting. Iv got to say it didn’t take long to get her in the swing of things. She is now almost up to speed(which is fantastic) and last Thursday joined the class with Thor & Lou his owner. Luna and Tina worked very well in the class and Lou & Thor were very patient when I had to explain to Tina(the exercise) what Lou & Thor already knew. Which I would like to thank Lou for.
Well that’s it for now..I will be updating asap hopefully with a video.

So sad unfortunately Otto & Nicole won’t be joining our training classes anymore🥲, due to a change in Nicole’s schedule. You will be missed! Wishing you both Good Luck for the future.x

Hiya, been a little while. Its Thor back again with his handler Lou at 16 weeks old along with his sibling Otto with handler Nicole. They have both been practicing hard and we have had GREAT results… Their waits are amazing for their age - Take a look!

Say Hello to Sasha, she is a 16 week old Boxer and absolutely full of beans. I met her, Sarah & Niall on Friday evening 14/7/23. They had already started some training which was great. I spoke to them for quite a while, finding out what their aim was as far as training was concerned. They had most of the house rules in place. I showed them both how to do some basic training with her and followed it up with a recap email, they will be updating me in about 10 days, I’m looking forward to it - I’ll will post with the update.

Hi, this is my newest student, 8 weeks old Thor (he is a handsome little chap) - he will be starting his puppy lessons at on 6th July - drop back in to see how he gets on😀.

Just wanted to give you a update on Thor…he is doing so well, we had a great lesson yesterday where I taught his owner Lou how to train him in Sit, Stand, Down, Wait(very short one), Food Refusal, Vet Check and last but not least a Puppy Recall. I know that probably seems a lot but Lou knows I will send her a recap if she forgets anything. Hopefully Lou will be able to practice the above twice daily and by next Thursday (his next lesson) we will see loads of improvement. I will update you again next week.

We are back Princess Dallas.
I met Dallas & her owner Melissa on 6th June. We had a very long chat about what had been going on in the 3 weeks she had got her and what her expectations were. In those 3 weeks Melissa had not had 1 full nights sleep🥴. She had done her homework on the breed etc. She had also joined a couple of groups online and even read up on a few online trainers - they almost all gave her conflicting suggestions on how to bring up/train a pup, which made it more difficult for her. She tried very hard to make it work (it didn’t). At this point I did suggest she have a good think about who/what method she was going to go with and just stick to the person, group or online trainer.

After our lengthy chat I met Dallas(The Princess) - she was adorable. We went through her routine, play time, meal times & quantities. Melissa had been advised that Dallas would be a medium size dog breed, in my option that was incorrect - her breed would be Large.
I suggested when weighing out Dallas food she follows the food guide for large breed we also put some routine into Dallas’s day. I received a message the following morning to say she had slept all night.
The message I got from my visit was that Dallas needed Routine, training & consistency(which I would say all puppy/dogs need)…..
I haven’t finished…keep following Mellisa & Dallas’s story….be back soon.

I have 2 baskets left to sell in aid of CRUK I have been pinching the flowers off to encourage more growth - so the are ready to pop they have been well fed - just need to be hung in a garden. They are just £15 each - pick up from Bishop Stortford

This is our handsome chap Enz. I first met Enz on 4thJune 23. His owners Lee & Andrea told me that when Enz came to them he sadly had already had 2/3 homes through no fault of his own - lucky for him Lee and Andre gave him a safe home. He came with some problems ie. Not being able to settle, not keen on seeing other dogs out on his walk and basically not knowing his place etc. They have had quite a few trainings but didn’t see to get anywhere with them. With some hard work from Lee & Andrea & help from me, giving him house rules to abide by, stimulating his brain with training & play. After hearing from Lee with a update..they seem to be getting somewhere with him which is great news. I’m looking forward to this weeks update and I’m on hand if they need any help. I will keep everbody on here updated too.

Hiya! After having a cancer scare last year & another one the beginning of this year and the fantastic NHS treatment I got - I decided to try and pay back a little. Meet Yogi a 4 year old GSD. I met Yogi and his owners a few weeks ago. They were having a few problems one being able to walk Yogi without him dragging them down the street. I worked with both the owner Becky & her son Dazz. I gave them some house rules to follow with Yogi and the tools to be able to get Yogi to walk to heel(with practice). They have taken everything Iv said onboard & practiced all that I have showed them. Now after the hard work they are able to begin reaping the benefits. Becky is now taking Yogi on long walks - what she has wanted to do for a long time. Dazz is able to walk Yogi to heel and has been able to take him to the beach - again something he has wanted to do for a while. Both of them are doing the above with confidence.
Iv got to say its been a pleasure training them and Yogi. Yogi is a handsome good tempered lad and hopefully enjoying life to the full.

If you read Shirley’s post about Dexter the 7 month old pup - this is a update and the best ever outcome we could of expected. Shirley managed to rehome him to couple that lived north way. He was picked up yesterday morning - as much as it was heart breaking to see him leave Shirley and everybody involved thought it was the right move….and they were right. Shirley received the video below yesterday afternoon where Dexter was meeting his new playmate and exploring what will be his daily walks. He looks like a totally different dog as to the one Shirley had picked up just 3 wks ago. What a great end to a horrible story.
