Holidays!

Everyone meet Madge.
Now Madge is no longer with us, but she’s the little lady who really pushed me to learn more about dog behaviour and she’s the reason I studied canine behaviour and enrichment activities and why i’m passionate about walking dogs in a safe and controlled manner.
Madge was our rescue French Bulldog we rehomed when she was age 4.5 back in 2018.
She had severe separation anxiety, dog reactivity, every illness and surgery you could possibly think of and eventually her dementia progressed so much that we had to do the hardest thing and put her to sleep in April 2022.
She taught me that dogs do not have to be taught to like other dogs or to even tolerate them, I mean do we like every human we come across?
With her in my thoughts that is why I only offer 1-1 or same household walks and occasionally off lead plays with my dog if meet and greets go well.
As I cannot predict what someone else’s dog may do or behave like and as such I want to make sure i’m fully in control of the dogs in my care to best control the situation, particularly if i’m walking a dog who is dog reactive.

This is my new venture that i’m doing part-time, but i’m not new to dogs.
I have had a variety of complex rescue dogs and also currently have a boxer dog Blaze
In addition to this I have volunteered for two dog rehoming / rescue charities over the past five years also.
I am insured and have a DBS also.
I only offer 1-1 or same household dog walks, however I do have a friendly boxer dog who I take to enclosed off lead parks so should your dog viewed to be compatible and you’d like to, then your dog may from time to time join us.

🟣 SERVICES I OFFER & 💷 PRICELIST

Please note your dog may be out longer if travelling in car somewhere for the walk, but the actual walk time is as listed.
⭐️ Solo dog walk 30mins - £9
⭐️ Solo dog walk 60 mins - £14
⭐️ Each additional dog from same household £4.50 for 30mins or £7 for 60mins

⭐️ Home visits for toileting / feeding / fussing - £9 30mins

Please note all new clients will need a home visit for a consult to meet the dog and to complete sign-up forms to discuss medical needs / allergies / likes&dislikes / record personal details.

Hellllooo :)
Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself.
I’m Lindsey.
And some of the photos show my French bulldog, my boxer pup and also some dogs i’ve had previously.
I volunteer at two local dog rescues and i’ve recently been undergoing canine behaviour qualifications and re-training in all things dog related.
Over the next few weeks you may see me out and about advertising Best Barks and what I have to offer.
