Clipped the lovely Ted and Mouse today 😍

Ted had his final hunter clip and Mouse went from having her belly and neck off to a lovely little hunter clip and she was very well behaved.

Thank you Sophie for always giving me nice clean horses to clip and a lovely cup of tea and biscuits 😋.

Yesterdays clip on the lovely Ted!!
He had a lovely hunger clip leaving spur squared and a saddle patch. He is always bathed and very clean for when I arrive, makes the clip so much better.
Thankfully Sophie was there ready with a cup of tea and some home made flapjack 😍

This little horse is just lovely ❤️

Bit of a late post, but Thursday I popped down to Beaminster to clip a lovely Connie who quite literally loved being it! I think he very much appreciated the hair cut.
But I can definitely say, he's the first horse I've ever clipped with a purple tail 🤣💜

Tonights two hunter clips were on Lily the 26 year old second D and Brie who is a standardbred.

Both didn't move a muscle to clip, they were super easy with a lovely clean coat to help my Liveryman black beauty clippers breeze through their coats ✂️

A beautiful morning for clipping but I thought I was going to need my sunglasses because of how white and clean Ted was!! It's so lovely when you have a nice clean horse to work with, the blades just glide straight through the coat.

The very lovely Ted had a hunter clip this morning leaving a saddle patch and spur patches because he's a sensitive but lovely boy.

Then mousey had a little clip. Sophie wasn't 100% sure how she was going to be because she's a new pony but she absolutely bossed it and stood perfectly.

And I very much appreciated the cup of tea and chocolate biscuits half way through 🤤.

Both of these were clipped using my Liveryman black beauty clippers ✂️

Next up is B!

I've clipped her now for 4 years and when I first started she had to be sedated 🙈

She had a hunter clip using my Liveryman black beauty clippers and Andis Grooming UK clippers!

Hopefully she'll feel much better now and she's already booked in again for the end of November.

A delayed post.. actually a few 🙈. Sorry I'm rubbish at keeping my page up to date!!

First is Arnold!!
A couple of weeks ago I clipped Carol Legg Arnold ready for red dragon 80km endurance ride and of course there was a best turned out 💁🏼‍♀️.

How awesome did he look? I also pulled his tail because he'd had a good itch and rubbed some out so couldn't be plaited! I don't think any of Carol's horses have ever had their tails pulled so it was a first.

Hello all 👋🏻👋🏻

I know I have been pretty absent this summer but for personal reasons I've needed a complete break. But I am getting myself ready for the season ahead.
Everything is about to be sent off for a service and a sharpen to make sure it's all ready and prepared.

I know I have said this before and I have squeezed people in but this year I really do have limited space please don't leave it until the last minute, we all know when our horses turn into wooly mammoth 😂 you might be disappointed when I can't fit you in straight away.

⭐One more thing that I know everybody has had to deal with. I really didn't want to do it but I don't have much choice with the cost of everything rising, I am going to have to have a price increase 😬. I haven't done this for a few years and I've been putting it off but inflation is leaving me with no choice 😔. ⭐

I'm looking forward to seeing all my regulars again soon 😘

Little bit of a delayed post.

Clipped little Chloe on Monday. A little hunter clip with half a face. I was very pleased with how clean her coat was. Came off super easy and left a brilliant finish. Young Immy and Zara done a fab job!!

All ready for their first day trial hunting yesterday! How smart did they look 😍

Sundays 4 clips!!

Buzz and Baz both had a blanket clip with a full head off and legs 🙈

Then on to do little Blue who had another little hunter clip 😍

Then Bam who had a full clip looking completely naked now 🙈

Look for someone to part loan/share Len.

I want someone RELIABLE and someone I can trust!! Maybe someone that had a horse but can't afford to have one or someone that hasn't got that much time to commit to owning one.

To ride 2 maybe 3 times a week but can be flexible and pay a bit towards his shoes? Happy for you to do things with him in the summer e.g - fun rides etc.

He's a 14.2hh cob cross but he's a little turbo 😍

I would like someone to be able to do the same days each week because I'm on a small yard where we help one another out, it helps the others to also know what's going on and when.

He isn't a novice plod. He can have his days where he thinks he's a green 5 year old again and he does have his quirks but most of the time he's pretty awesome.

Please no school children and you must have your own insurance (with proof).

My Len had a hunter clip ready for a bit of fun yesterday. He had gotten so hairy it was needed. I clipped down to his knee/hock then blended the rest of his legs. It was a good job because we got plastered in mud yesterday 🙈

Then today Charlie had his 3rd and probably final hunter clip of the season. Charlie is a regular and he knows when I turn up, he's getting a hair cut 🙈

Tidied Lens legs up this morning after giving them a wash last night they come off easy this morning.

I've tried to upload photos of befores and afters. You should (hopefully) be able to see that I clip down the backs of his legs and then blend the front and blend it together to give him a little extra protection on the fronts. And a little picture of him looking cute with his orange muzzle 🙈

Then over to give Lucy a blanket clip. We don't usually leave her this long and she was very woolly which makes it a bit more difficult to get a nice line 🙈 but I was pleased to see how good she's looked 😍 got a soft spot for her, she's definitely one of my favourite ponies 💜

Flec had her first hunter clip of the season done Monday.

She also had the whole of her face off.. She's made it to the age of 21 without taking it all off and she loved it!!

Grey's are not an easy colour to clip but they always come up lovely with a hot cloth 💜

Today's full clips

First was Buzz, a big 4 year who has only been clipped a few times. Struggled likely with his legs but generally he behaved very well.

Then Baz who was a breeze. Literally didn't move a muscle 🎉.

All done before the rain 🥳

What a busy day 😴

5 horses today ✂️

First was the very beautiful Ted this morning, he had a lovely hunter clip. Really lovely boy, a little ticklish around the flanks and private area but with a mixture of a hard brush and the clippers he let me carry on and clip it off.

Then I headed to Team Roe Dressage and clipper Bam and Blue.

Helen was told that Bam needed sedation to be clipped, but guess what... We done a hunter clip with no sedation without holding him 🥳🙌🏻👏🏼. First time I've met this chap and he's a really sweet boy. He was clipper using my Andis Grooming UK trimmer. Super powerful little things with a low vibration.

Then little blue has another hunter clip, unfortunately he suffered with Cushing's (recently diagnosed) so needs a little help from us. I literally whipped it off in 25 minutes 🙈 he's got so good bless him.

Then Ali's 2 boys both had a lovely trace clip. Flash is quite nervous around the head and ears but we got half a face off with using just a lick!

These were clipped using the Liveryman black beautys and harmony trimmers as well as having super CLEAN shiny coats.

What a productive day, ready to do it again tomorrow 🙈

B had a nice hunter clip last night with half a face and leaving a saddle patch on.

She suffers terrible with her skin and sores and although she's retired to just hacking now, she still benefits the full clips to help keep her skin happy 💜

Finally got round to giving Len a tidy up this morning. He was starting to look a bit untidy and not up to my standard 🙈

Legs were clipped using my Andis Grooming UK trimmers and then blended with a Smart Grooming shaver.

His chin and jaw was also done with the smart grooming shaver ☺️ makes life much easier 🙌🏻

And a tail pull using the smart grooming fine thinning rate 🌟

How satisfying!! 5 weeks of growth for Len 🙈 he's normally done every 2 weeks. Couldn't bare it any longer. It had to come off 😍 Clipped using my Andis Grooming UK clippers. Super powerful little things. These were on the lowest settings so tackle thick coats and manes with ease!

A few weeks back I got round to doing a hunter clip on Len. We've had such a busy summer and with the heatwaves he was getting rather hot so this made him much more comfortable. He isn't a lover of being clipped but he will just about tolerate it now if I'm quick 😂 Using the Liveryman black beautys here 💜
