You may have seen posts prior to Christmas about a spate of rabbit thefts. They are such as unusual series of offences that we still have a lot of unanswered questions. We have CCTV of a suspect in one offence but due to the time of night and facial covering it does not allow us to identify them.

- How would someone know that a house had rabbits in their garden? We have not seen an increase in other types of theft so it appears they are specifically targeting houses with rabbits.

- What would the motive be to steal rabbits, are they being sold on? If so how are rabbits sold on privately? Has anyone come across any rabbits being offered for sale and felt suspicious?

- Any other information about the person or people involved in these offences.
