Due to Paddy being a working stallion, he will not be available for live cover I’m afraid.

Paddy had a surprisingly good day at Allerton Park Horse Trials in the end! We had a bit of a wobbly start, with a dry hay cough flaring up rather spectacularly but the superstar vets in sight checked him out and we were cleared to continue. Dressage was spoiled by said coughing but 4 faults SJ and a LOVELY relaxed clear XC followed in fine style.

The golden boy sparkled in the sunshine and drew rather a lot of attention 😅

It wasn’t the end to the season we were expecting but it’s one I’ll certainly take. Paddy decided to fall out with a fence when we got home, and although only appearing to have surface injuries, we’re taking it as a sign Osberton is sadly not meant to be. Next time!

He was a gentleman all day, both on the ground and ridden, I honestly could not fault him. Really looking forwards to next season!

Huge thank you to mummy Susan, occasional supergroom Rebecca and our silent sponsor for allowing us the opportunities to compete this season. Without their help I simply could not afford it. Our training with Olivia Wilmot has made a huge difference too. Equine physio Francesca Leslie Animal Physiotherapy keeps them limber along with our fabby vets Fiona and Suzie. David Edney Voltaire has had the patience of a saint with my constant saddle questions and between him and Emily Howe’s we’ve actually managed to keep him comfy this season. He does it all without shoes too!

Paddy is powered by Keyflow Feeds and continues to be supported by the wonderful Susanne Keyflow to keep him gleaming.

You know, when you get up super early to avoid the heat and flies to keep the big guy comfortable with some pre work exercise… and he doesn’t see ANY reason to get out of bed 🤦‍♀️ fertile mares wouldn’t have dragged him this morning 😅 oh Paddy… I tried! I guess we’ll be braving the heat later 🥵

There’s regular foals, and then there’s Paddy’s foals!

Ella’s first trip to the beach, walk, trot and canter in the sea too! So lucky to have this a 10 min hack from home. Big sister being a super star looking after her yearling sister 👌 we have occasional outings so our gorgeous little girl gets too see all kinds of things, great fun and very educational ☺️

We had a little trip out to pads first affiliated BS show last weekend, it didn’t quite go to plan as Paddy felt it was the first sun he’d seen in months and would rather sleep, but the scope is certainly there.

As I’m currently lacking BS membership, and very lucky to have a superstar showjumping friend, Eden McCulloch took him out and did a phenomenal job with our golden boy!

We, and Paddy especially, would like to wish all his baby mumma’s, and their human mums the happiest of mother’s days! 💕

Paddy is available frozen in the UK this season, we hope to one day have him available further afield!

Gemma Potts, from Crook, was knocked over by a horse at an equestrian event, leaving her quadriplegic aged 26.

After months in James Cook University Hospital’s spinal injuries unit, Gemma was moved to a nursing home in Bishop Auckland where she could receive care. Her mum Linda is now working to get her home, but the bungalow they have needs a lot of specialist equipment.

The equestrian community are very good at banding together in times of need, and this young lady could certainly do with our support.

A stud fee for Paddy is being auctioned for anyone looking to use him, he’d make a great late valentine for you mare! He’s a wonderful stallion with excellent temperament, conformation and paces. Paddy is buckskin (single dilute) and has an almost 50/50 chance of passing on the single dilution (buckskin or palomino) if your mare is non dilute (chestnut/bay). He stamps his foals with an elegance of stature and stride and award winning natures across the board. He events, hunts, hacks with my mum, and even swims in the sea!

Decidedly not just a competition horse… beach days with our besties… Paddy ridden by my best mate whilst I rode his daughter on a glorious winters afternoon paddling through the glassy Solway sea. This absolute gent of a stallion enjoys chilled out hacking with my mum, best mate and even my boyfriend (or his parents too) just as much as competing with me. He truly is a multi talented gentleman of a stallion with the most generous of temperaments 👌
