Fun times had at our visit visit to The Field at Field today ☺️ Beautiful sunshine too 🤩

There was lots to do and snoofer. I shouted at my sister Hattie the Trail Dog getting up high! I eventually braved the tunnel 🤣 There was a puddle for me to dunk my junk 😍 Mum did some recalling and I was a good boy each time 🤩

Mum also took soooooooooo many photos 🤦🏻‍♀️ we be so photogenic 😝

Yup, I was having a good chew on this mighty wood when Mum caught me late last night. (Fun over 😳) I did not want her to have it when I was in the garden. She told me to ‘house’ so I ran in and jumped on my cuddle chair. Mum asked me to give but me not want to.

To her horror she spotted a massive nail in the wood in my jaws. She held onto the edge and sternly told me thank you (means give/release), I responded with a meek no growl knowing that Mummy meant it. She gave me that look that only pawrents can do so I released.

“Geez Rigby! Where on earth did you find that. There are two long nails in it you plonker, they could have caused serious injury!” Yes Mum, blah blah blah she went on 😬

Mum: today is Rigby’s got you day. I remember 3 years ago going to collect Rigby. I knelt down and he came and tucked his head into my shoulder. It was love instantly ❤️

The first 6 months were very hard. Rigby was an untrained puppy in an adult body at 18 mths old. He was reserved and shut down when he arrived. Hattie was so gentle with him ❤️ she was a good girl and mothered him.

He slowly bloomed and showed his pushy self. Hattie we have to train gently otherwise she shuts off, she learns quickly but has her own mind and decides if she wants to do what is asked. Rigby needs firm repetitive training as he is a pushy dog but once he gets it he is generally consistent. Although, give him an inch and he will take a mile! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Hence him earning his nickname of Sir Wriggleby of Ba$t4rdshire 🤣 thanks Nicola Dangerfield for that one 🤪

Chris and I have learnt so much with the support of Everything Doggo. Rigby has taken us on a journey and pushed us to the edge. However, our hard work has payed off and we now have a boy who is so cheeky, funny and loving. Hattie bosses him around and they play lovely. A true little family 😍

We are so proud of how far Rigby has come, from the dog who cowered if you raised your arm in the air and barked madly in fear at the hoover to being a calmer (he has his moments when life is too much but we recognise this now) loving boy who no longer barks at the hoover.

Thank you Rigby for growing us as hoomans and trusting us explicitly 💜 we love you beyond measure. Our family 😍

Happy got you day, Rigby. Never stop being you and making us smile and laugh with your silly antics ❤️💜❤️

Mum picked us up after a week at day care this morning. Our pawrents have been on holibobs. We love day care and Uncle Drew but we are so pleased to be home and snuggling with Mummy and Daddy. We all missed each other so much ❤️

Since moving to our new home I have done sploring. The best way taking opportunities when Hattie opens the front door (yes she be a clever girl). Hattie open door and sit nicely waiting while I jump over her head and go snoofer! Mum says I am a libility…. Me? Not sure that is the right word…

Anyhoo, today Mum announced we be door and side gate training. We did this at old house to encourage me not to go sploring.

Hattie is smartie pants but I was attached to the long line 🤷🏻‍♀️ while we did fun training with snackeroos 🤩

So folks….. we found today another GSP on our new street! We is not the only ones 😲 Poppy is an old girl but I really liked her. Her tail wagged lots for me.

Later Hattie dids let me out again 😵‍💫😵 so I took a snoofer to visit lady poppy’s house down the road 😍 wanted to strut my stuffs and check out her back garden as Mum and Dad will not let me snoofer ours when I wants 😳

Sadly the pawrents were not far behind and ended the funs 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ spoilt sports. They be so barressing at times.

Another Venturous day had 🤩 so snoozes had this evening 😴

Mum has been shush for a few weeks because we have done a packing up and moved house. This is the first time Hattie has ever changed a house! I have had a few homes but our pawrents were still apprehensive about how we would both adapt.

Mum says she is so proud of us both ❤️ Hattie is feeling the toll of moving and needing extra snuggles the last few days. Mum and Dad have not stopped, busying and busying some more!

Good news for us (Mum says not so much for her) we have many squizzles in the garden 🐿️ to woof and spin at 🤩

We have a temporary pallet fence so that I cannot dig up the garden 😳

On our first day Hattie opened the front door and let auntie Bec and family in, later she let Daddy in so the front door is now kept locked! She is a clever doggo. Later she opened the side gate and let me out 🤣 I had a wonder down the street. When Mum called me I looked up at her, wagged my tail and ran off a snoofering so she had to come and catch me 🤪🤣 Safe to say the gate is now bungee corded to stop Hattie opening it 🤣🤣 All the drama with us clever pooches out smarting our pawrents 🥰

We have lots planned in the new house and we are all settling in. We had Good Friday snuggles 🥰

We will make sure Mum keeps up with regular updates so you get to see my cute face 🤣

**Rigby has taken the house move all in his stride. It has been like a reset for him. He is so playful and happy here ❤️ he makes us laugh daily with his silly antics 🤣

Just had the best day ever with my GSP pals!

Fanking yoos for fun Elly Dawg, Roguey Woguey, my sis Hattie Pants and new pup Nora Gremlin (Elly Dawg new sis)

We snoofered, dunk my junk, zoomies, treat times, snoofered, zoomies, mudbaths, tree jumping……..

Mum is just pleased she did not lose me in the 25 acres! I was good boy and keep checking in. Also good with the this way command 🤩 First time I have been off lead in such a big area.

Iz did manage to beach myself getting over a branch that was a little higher than my legs length 🤦🏻‍♀️

Just reminded Mum that she owes you a story about our Malvern Hills adventure with our fren Elly 🥰

Oh, Elly dawg, I think I loves Elly…. She is so much fun to chew and play bitey face with. She is quick spinner like Hattie 🤣

Mum has just told me to stop being love struck 😳 I have a story to tell…. Not sure the problem, I know my frens will like to hear a love story too 🥹

Anyhoo back the the hills…. Elly dawg has recently moved to the hills and we went to visit and do running up and down hills. It was soooooooooo long to get there, I had to do singing and shouting at times in the car for my excitement was too much.

We eeeeevvvvveeennntttuuuaalllyyyy arrived and Hattie and I were sooo excited that Mum struggled to get us ready in our Canicross kit! 🤣 she did get us all hooked up and then Elly and auntie Fi came out, and Mum yelped as we dragged her to greet Elly!!!

She told us to calm it down. Did she not realised that it was Elly and how great it is to see Elly!? Mum need to get with the doggy programme!

After a little more chaos and Mum huffing and puffing, locking the car etc we got on our way up the hill. (Mum can be so much drama 🤷🏻‍♀️) We were all ready to run straight away! Come on pawrents! Let’s get up the hills!

It was very steep at the bottom of the hill but that was no problem for Mum with Hattie and I being strong pullers 💪🏼 We had to tell her to hurry up some!

There were so many smells and my tail was wagging and wagging and wagging (yes, maybe the cause of my tail limber 😳).

It was all so much fun going higher and higher. We also had to pause to rest the pawrents, and model for photos 🤦🏻‍♀️ the wind blowing our ears made us look the part 🤩

Auntie Fi helped by taking Hattie part way down because Mum’s legs were shaking and gone like jelly 🤣🤪

Mum says she loved the up hill (only cause we were putting all the hard work in I bet!) we did payback on the way down as we still wanted to run but the pawrents say no, go slow. It was hard for poor old them. Just so boring go slow! They need sledges next time 🤣 they kept complaint about the number of legs, we do not think that is a very good excuse.

I should also report that when we were near Elly dawg home there was a humph noise and there auntie Fi was Sat taking a rest on the pavement, really, there!? What was she doing parking her back side at a time of running!? Hattie went back to see if she needed any face lickings while Elly snoofered more. Too much dragging and slippy leaves was the excuses. Mum was doing politeness and trying not to giggle! 🤣

When we got home, 2 hours later, we were not yet tired so after a sausage snacko we did play pointer crazy in the lounge of Elly house. I did some serenading of Elly dawg and play bow for more play. 🤪

Finally, Elly and I did sleeps on sofa whilst Hattie still play ball. Does she ever tire? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Iz loves burying stinky hoofs 🤩 Mum does not like it so much when Iz sneaker in with said stinky hoof a few days later 😳 Iz found one such stinky tonight and sneakered past Mum into the lounge. I dumped the hoof on the rug and proceeded to chewz. ‘Oi Rigby! What did you just bring in!? Better not be a grubby stinky hoof!’ Oh no! Mum noticed my sneakering 🤦🏻‍♀️ best dash! In the process I left a woodlouse family on the rug along with 2 pebbles. ‘Oh Rigby! You are such a grubby boy!!’ 🤣🤣🤣 Not sure what Mummas problem is really…. 🤪

Do not be behind me when I do my back kick dances! Mud does fly. Mum and Dad have been caught many a time 🤣 (I do not always cock a leg before this dances, sometimes just grass gets my paws going, which can mean all 4 paws! 😵)

If only the whole walk was as perfect as these moments of engagement and focus 🤣 One day 🤞🏼 Hattie is much better, very engaged and calm (unless we see a cat or squizzle) but Rigby is still a little wired on walks. Much better than he used to be but I need to do some solo training with him. Rigby did not bark at any vans or the siren 🚨 yesterday. That is a massive improvement 🤞🏼

Yesterday I sat in the stream and shouted to let everyone know that I was frustrated but loving my walk 🤦🏻‍♀️😳🤣

Practicing stay and come at the K9 Pastures this morning. Close distances for now as there are soooooo many birds to distract me! Mum is lucky to have this much concentration from me. Gotta go, the birds are calling......
