Has anyone seen our grey tabby cat? He is microchipped and has quite a distinctive white stripe along half of his nose. Last seen being chased by another cat towards Flitwick Woods. Please check sheds and garages.

Cat found in Silsoe.

** Update: The microchip was up-to-date and the cat's owner has been contacted. Sadly the vet thinks that due to the serious injuries sustained, he is unlikely to survive 😿 **

We collected a microchipped, male ginger cat from Silsoe at lunchtime today. He had possibly been in an RTA so we have taken him to Boness Vet in Barton for emergency medical attention.

Hopefully the chip is up-to-date so that the registered owner can be contacted.

Thank you to the finder for rescuing him this morning, out of the mud and bushes by a roadside, and taking care of him until we arrived.

RSPCA please answer your telephone as the finder couldn't get through to you and this was an emergency. Fortunately the finder was able to contact us but the vet surgery still need the RSPCA for verification.

Everyone, please keep your fingers, toes and paws crossed for this beautiful boy. We left him at the vets in a poorly condition. We really do hope that he gets the treatment he desperately needs and that he recovers.

Hi my names Chris, I work for Network Rail, unfortunately I found a dead cat today on the railway at Flitwick, it was a black cat with white on its underside, it was weather worn and had some damage, as you might expect.
To give an idea of its location, the nearest public road is Ashton Gate towards the north side of Flitwick.
Respond if you think this is relevant to you.
Chris Bull
