I've always loved dogs and they were around me one way or another since I remember. In 2016 I finally got my own dog which was one of the best decisions of my life. I was excited and fully committed to make my dog the happiest creature on the planet. Only I had no idea what makes dog happy. I've started researching and it made me even more confused. I learned so many conflicting information about
how to train the dog, what to feed her with, where she should sleep, how much she should exercise and on and on. Even now thinking about it makes me feel overwhelmed. I started doing my own research, I read lots of books, tried different methods and made fair share of mistakes before I discovered something that really works and makes my dog and me happy - the positive reinforcement training method. Positive training is having fun with the dog, is positively reinforcing god for good behaviour, building relationship and trust, creating learning environment where dog is safe and happy and most importantly creating confident dog which is emotionally stable. In the last couple of years I did various certifications in Dog Wellbeing, Training and Behaviour and now I study at the Victoria Stilwell Academy. Whenever I can I attend webinars and lectures to deepen my knowledge even more and be up to date with the latest science in the Dog Training and Behaviour field. I believe that positive training methods will help dog parents and their dogs understand each other better and enjoy time together to the fullest.
