About our Small Pet Boarding

We board: Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Mice, Rats, Reptiles and More

Welcome to The Animal Hotel.

The Animal Hotel was established in Berkshire in 2015, however due to a family move we're now pleased to have re-opened in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, where we now live.

The Animal Hotel was originally set up due to my love of animals, therefore, I am delighted, especially with a young family, to be in a position to be able to do this again.

If your pets would feel happier in their own surroundings, we do offer home visits and this can include larger animals.

Exercise:

All rabbits and guinea pigs will have allocated exercise time to stretch their legs and binky to their hearts content, or squeak if they're piggies of course.

All other small animals will have cuddle time, and depending on their nature treats for tricks.

Health & Hygiene:

The Animal Hotel is cleaned and disinfected to a high standard every day.

All guests will be given fresh food, treats and water daily, with spot cleaning morning and night and a full bedding change weekly.

We do reserve the right to refuse any animal that shows signs of illness, infection or infestation unfortunately.

Vaccination Certificate - Rabbits

All rabbits are required to have been vaccinated against myxomatosis and RHD1. This vaccine must have been given within the 12 months prior to boarding. We will require a copy of your vaccination certificate. Without this, unfortunately you will be refused board.

The Animal Hotel Price Guide

Hamsters/Mice/Gerbils - £4 Per day (+50p per additional housemate)

Rats/Degus/Chinchillas/Hedgehogs - £4.50 Per day (+50p per additional housemate)

Guinea Pigs - £5 per day (+£1 per additional housemate)

Rabbits - £6 Per day (£2 per additional housemate)

Lizards/Geckos/Bearded Dragons/Tortoises - £6 Per day (Own vivarium)

Home visits - Price on request

ALL BOOKINGS REQUIRE A 50% NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT. Prices are charged per day and the remaining payment is required at drop off, or in advance via bank transfer.

Other Services

I offer a home visit service for all animals, including cats, dogs (including a 15 minute walk), I can also bring in the post, water plants, open and close curtains etc. Please contact me with your requirements and I can provide a quote
