Die Übersetzung ins Deutsche ist jetzt jenseits einer Übersetzung. Das liegt daran, daß ich ganz liebe Hilfe von zwei Terrier-Halterinnen als Übersetzer, Lektorat und Korrektorat habe. Die Zwei haben noch viele, viele Fragen aufgeworfen, die ich mir gar nicht mehr gestellt habe.
Tja.

Wenn's mal wieder etwas länger dauert und ja, es darf ein bisschen mehr sein. ;) Es wird ....
Der Untertitel braucht noch ein paar Gedanken - gefällt mir immer noch nicht zu 100%. :D

Fun fact: did you know that approximately 1/3 of KC registered breeds are handstripped?
It's not a niche activity for odd terrier people.
It has to do with an altered hair growth cycle and the purpose of the breed, NOT the actual job the animal has. So even beloved city pets have this type of coat, where hair gets stuck in the telogen phase, because it's genetics.

Isn't she lovely? 😍 Look at the layers (longer and shorter hair) on the head - this is called a "rolled coat" where you regularly only pull the longest hair so that shorter hairs come always in.
The Rainbow edition is made for such types of coat: thick with lots of undercoat. They are "specialist knives", require a precise technique, because it is possible to cut coat (e.g. when you bend your wrist).

Aptly we have three males coming in: one puppy, one veteran and one old age pensioner - all pedigree (KC and FCI), all broken coat and all handstripped.
