Lots of spaces are available on Mondays and Tuesdays, ideal for a puppy who needs a bit of socialising and training before joining the busier walks.

Spaces are also available Monday to Friday for well behaved and socialised dogs who can fit right in with the busier group walks.

George joined the Wyre Walkies gang today. He’s a bit of a handful and spent the first 20 minutes fighting, pawing and chomping the lead, but once he realised that I’m in charge of which direction we walk, he started to relax and walked beautifully on a nice loose lead. Well done George lad!

Landi waited so nicely for my permission to have a swim, then came willingly when I said no. How could I not let him have a quick dip? 😂

We see all sorts on my morning walk. And I’ve just noticed I talk to my Wyre Walkers like I talk to my nephew 😂

Here’s Alfie doing a perfect job of helping me demonstrate a training tip for you all
 Don’t repeat your commands. If your dog doesn’t respond straight away, give them time to think and react. As long as they don’t move from the spot they may surprise you if you just give them a moment. Over time, your dog will need less and less time to think and they’ll be sitting before you can even finish saying the word “sit”. Repeating the command over and over until they do it teaches them that the first five or six times you said “sit”, it was optional. 10/10, Alfie!

Making good steady progress installing Fudge’s ‘emergency brakes’ ready for letting her off lead.

I’m so chuffed with these two off lead today. It helps that I can see other dogs coming before they can but still, they’ve done me proud! Typical Hunter - why sit down when you can lie down? 😂

Don’t be grumpy and expect others not to wind you up about it 😂

Such a simple little exercise but they blooming love it! 😆
