There can be times when it slips our mind to get tomorrow’s meal out of the freezer. When you make your dog’s food and this happens you might think what do I do now but as with our own food, you check the fridge and improvise.

Lottie and Barney didn’t seem to mind having a spoonful of last night’s leftover game and veggies shared, alongside a chicken wing, raw egg and shell (super-healthy), tinned sardines all drizzled with organic whey leftover from my homemade yogurt and topped with a sprinkle of seaweed. 😋

I’ve been busy working on some new recipes for my forthcoming book. This duck and sweet potato dish is served with steamed asparagus and broccoli - topped with blueberries and garden herbs.

The bowl is a ceramic slow feeder (for greedy dogs 🤣). It’s made by Magisso and works like a fridge, keeping food and water cool. I bought it from Olive & Berry - who are excellent and have some fab doggie delights.
