ZA UK Thermal Imaging Heat Loss Step by Step How is getting done:

1. You call us - 07542 003516 or email us or message us on Facebook.

2. Arrange a time then to visit the house.

3.

On the day of the Survey:

a) It has to be cold outside and the heating to be on. For empty, not heated properties will not work well but we can
still find something that can be interesting. b) we wear a face-covering against Covid and we clean out hands
often
c) the survey takes 30min
d) 15 min explanation to you about the problems we found

e) we upload the images -( each image has a voice file connected to
it with the explanation of the problems found on that particular
image - (it is all done via the Thermo imaging camera at the time
of the survey)
(We upload all images to a link that you can access so you can
download them later or we can email the images if they are not
that many also we can transfer them to a SD card if you have an
empty one (we scan it for viruses though before using it). We do not leave before leaving the images with you in one way or another.

5. It is £40 and we give you a receipt on the spot. After that, if you like any additional consultation you can always call us to arrange it. We are happy people and we care about the planet!

Case Study 1:
Picture 1 - Here go an example of 2 front doors of two neighbours.
We know the people living there and we know their habits.
Outside temperature - 1°C - image taken today 08.02.2021 Croydon.
The house to the left is not heated but only a small heater is used during the night in the back bedroom for a few hours so there is minimal heating almost no heating. Very old windows from the 70ties those with the metal frame and no insulation anywhere around the house the front door has visible gaps underneath.
So, what we see on the left door in this pale yellow/green colour is not a light bulb switched on but the heat difference inside-outside/ the house - 11°C v 1°C
The house to the right is always heated since the winter season began between 19°C - 22°C v 1°C outside currently
this house has the same door as the other one - the original door of the house - a wooden one with single glassed parts but this one had some insulation around the edges.
On Picture 1 The camera is pointed towards one of the glasses (a laser is pointing) and the temperature measured is 5.31°C outside,
How much do you think is the temperature of the same glass that is pointed the laser but from inside?
Yes, you are right almost the same!!!
What about right in front of the door like 2cm away from inside?
Yes, you are right more than 5.31°C but less than 19°C, Ok it is 16.51°C.
Picture 3 - The door inside the hothouse just before the door- 16.5°C
What is the conclusion so far?
This neighbour with the hot house that the door is not protecting the heat to stay indoor is burning money respectively fuel, respectively damaging the Planet for nothing.
Picture 4 - How the cold from outside is entering the warm house around the non-insulated sides of the old wooden door.
Changes are needed at the warm place - to insulate the door if don't like to change it or even a thick curtain but what about the neighbour that does not heat the house? - Well, also has to change as if any cold sickness knocks of the door then lots of resources could be used to safe the person - tablets, GP, Hospital, Doctors, plastic gloves, off work... an avalanche of resources....almost worse than the non-insulated door of the neighbour.

Let me know what you think about those two doors.
