The ground is being prepared for the concrete to be laid on Friday!

We want to keep you all Updated on what we are trying to do. Below is the quote for the building structure. On top of this we need the concrete base and groundworks. These however we are trying to pay for from our own pockets. Concrete base approx £500. Digger hire £200 Drainage materials £150 Gravel £120

We would like to thank everyone who has continued to donate towards food and new housing for our piggy’s and bunnys.

Plans are well underway for our new building to house our rescue guinea pigs and rabbits.

We are hoping to build a 3m x 8m building to house all our rescues and be able to welcome the public into our rescue to see what we do.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ updated ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A huge thank you to everyone that has donated so far. We are truly humbled by everyones generosity. After inspection of the building its not going to be possible to return the piggies and bunnies back to thier original home, as we could not prevent this happening again.

the money that everyone has donated so far will pay for new food for everyone for the month. Any money left over will be used towards building new permanent housing.

We think the materials for this will cost in the region of £1000. A new concrete base and and structure will be built by us here at GG. (Us being ourselves and husbands !) This will give us even more room once finished ,and hopefully enable our little rescue to help even more piggies and bunnies in need.

Our guinea pigs and bunnies home was destroyed by flooding last night.
All piggies and bunnies are fine and now cosy in temporary accommodation.

We have also had to dispose of all the guinea pig food, rabbit food , hay and straw as all was contaminated by flood water.

We don’t usually do appeals for help as we usually manage to pay for what the rescues need from our own pockets and by selling our treat boxes.

With losing all the food and hay it’s making things difficult for us to make it until our next feed delivery at the end of the month.

If anyone can help us out then please pm. I am trying to sort a go fund me link.

All our feed is bought through Carrs billington which is much cheaper than Amazon. We can get almost twice as much for the same price.

⭐️ In the last few months we have had some ⭐️ rabbits come in with guinea pigs that have been on pregnancy watch and we are delighted to have some lovely baby rabbits up for adoption.

These rabbits will come vaccinated and microchipped.

Gifts for Guinea pigs *Christmas Appeal *
With Christmas fast approaching we have had a lot of piggies surrendered in the past few weeks.
We have 40 little Tiny Tim’s and Tiny Tina’s to feed and keep healthy and warm this winter. We are making sure all the piggies are loved and looked after to the very best of our ability.
It’s hard time of year for everyone just now. Especially with covid causing all sorts of problems.
If you could please please possibly help us and give a gift for a Guinea pig, we would be very very grateful.
