Today is my 3rd gotcha day. Here are some photos mum and dad have taken over the last year. We’ve been to Devon for a holiday but I didn’t like that wet stuff. We stayed in a brilliant caravan in Brean where I spent lots of time watching people on the beach. As you can see I’m living my best life 💜
On Friday I went out for a walk with my friends Eddie and George and started play fighting with George in the long grass. Big mistake…as I got a grass seed stuck in my ear, which really hurt. My mum had to take me to the doggie doctors but it was so deep inside my ear, they had to sedate me. I then spent Friday afternoon recovering on mum and dads bed as I felt very sad. But I am fully recovered now and enjoyed a run round the field, with the shorter grass this afternoon chasing my ball, it was hot and my tongue was hanging out. Mum said I’m not allowed down the track anymore until the grass has been cut!! Beware doggie friends of long grass and spiky grass seeds as they really hurt!!!!
Mum did the 5k pretty muddy today for race for life, after grandad passed away recently. I went along to support her and whilst she was getting muddy I thought I would too and rolled in some mucky stuff. Dad was not happy with me. I don’t get the hoomans!! Had to have a bath when we got home!! Now snuggled with dad on the sofa, but mum sticky the camera in my face AGAIN!!!
Today is my 2nd gotcha day. Can’t believe I’ve been here two whole glorious years. What a great year this year has been. Had two holidays in Devon and dad got me into the sea again. Not sure I really like it though, don’t like my feet getting wet!! Mum and dad left me with uncle Gary and auntie Sharon for the first time and had a night away and they took me out on some lovely walks.
Everyone says that I have grow into a lovely, affectionate little girl and my confidence has grown a lot, although I still get frightened by sudden noises, but mum says that’s all part of my loveliness!!

So excited. My new beef food arrived yesterday……..and mum realised I still had half a bag of chicken left hiding in the cupboard! I’m feeling a lot more confident these days and for the first time in a year I stuck my head in the bag to get the last bits out! Although dad did have to hold the bag so I could get right in!!
Excited about life and my gotcha day
It’s my first gotcha day today…..365 days ago my new life began and boy what a fantastic life it is. From the terrified little girl who arrived at Bristol airport all those moths ago, mum and dad said I have grown in confidence. I still get a bit scared when I meet new people or hear strange noises but am so much happier meeting people now. I have made loads of doggie friends and enjoy our daily walkies.

Mum said there was a Helicopter in the field today on my walk………..don’t know what she means!!
Mum and dad took me to the beach on Wednesday for the first time. It was brilliant. I did so much running around chasing my ball I was exhausted. So mum treated me to my first 99 which was delicious!!! Looking forward to doing it all again very soon.

Today is my 6 month gotcha day and boy has it been a brilliant 6 months. Getting more confident around new people although still frightened of wheelie bins! Made loads of new friends both doggie and hooman. Love my food and am really good at sitting and waiting for it. I take my treats really nicely, better than some of the guys in the village! Mum and dad love taking me out for long walks and I get to zoom around the field of my lead.
Met my brother the other week which was very frightening, he was like a walking stone, apparently he’s a tortoise 🐢 getting used to him now and love eating his dinner.
Mum had promised to keep you all updated more often but she doesn’t get much time as I love playing and demand all hers and dads attention.
Happy Christmas everyone. I know 2020 has been a rubbish year for most of you but it’s been the best year EVER for me. Today I’ve had a great day with mum and dad opening my presents. Mum made me wear this coat!!!
For all you beautiful Apollo Angels that made my trip to my forever home possible, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Without you I wouldn’t be here living my bestest life. I love you all 🐾❤️
Had my first visit to the vets today. Was very nervous but they gave me loads of nice treats. Got mucky ears and mum and dad have got to put some stuff to put in them.....don’t like it. Came back from vets and was happy with myself so had a little play on the mat with my toys and mums old slipper.
Great lunchtime walk with mum today. Plenty of snuffles, although got a bit scared of the big brown things on the path on the way home. Mum said they were called bins. Didn’t like them! But I do like this nom nom I got tonight for asking to go out in the garden to do my business....it’s soooo tasty!,
Day 7 and made mum and dad very happy today as I did a p*e and p**p in the garden. We then went out on a great walk where there were sooo many snuffles. I also met some of the other dogs in the village and was really good with them. Now having an afternoon snuggle with dad.
Day 4 and had a very busy day today. Firstly, was not happy when dad left for work this morning, then helped mum with her work and got rid of some paperwork for her. After an exhausting morning had a little snooze in the sunshine, then watched the workmen put up a new fence next door. Phew, I’m shattered now.
Luna is settling in well. Day two and learnt how to get on the sofa already!!Went on for her first walk and experienced some great snuffling and even started to play with her toy.

Beautiful Luna she's a GWP x GSP she's 2 years old
She's around 60cm to the shoulder in height , currently 20 kilos but should be 24 as she's quite skinny at the moment
When she first arrived was very unsure but now she's full of life and energy and very playful
