This is Neve, ✨ I had to snap a picture of her in all her golden glory today in the sunshine! She was positively glimmering when the sun hit her coat. ✨

Neve enjoyed her animal communication session today where we discovered her deeper connection within the family and we worked through some questions from her lovely owner. Given her cheeky character, she had lots to say and is feeling a whole lot lighter!

Really great article and backs what I'm leading a movement for. There are many ways to equine health and wellbeing. Energy work & Intuition (in my case, animal communication) should not be dismissed or sceptical.
The profound effect it can have on the body and the mind, is incredible and the results speak for themselves.

Energy Work and Animal Patients: Beyond the Physical

By Chris Bates M.Ost, DipAO, EEBW, BHSAI

In the animal therapeutic industry, energy workers, Reiki healers and other more esoteric practitioners have been present for a very long time. Considering the history of energy work, it could be argued that they were there first. Due to the nature of these disciplines, there is some scepticism from both owners and other practitioners as to the validity and the effectiveness. On the other side of the coin, there are ardent supporters and regular users of these therapies who swear by the effects and sometimes have the treatment for themselves too.

‼️In light of the recent case of strangles in the Crediton area, I'd like to reaffirm that I take bio security VERY seriously in between yards/horses.

I spray my boots and equipment and anything I can with Equine Bio Genie which is fast and effective against deseases including strangles. I change clothes between each yard too and wash hands very regularly. This is something I take VERY seriously and always have done.

📢 I will also be asking you all to let me know in advance if your horse has ANY of the symptoms of strangles, including temperature, nasal discharge, lathargy.

Please be honest even if you think it's fine, so that I can reschedule your appointment. This is not to be over cautious, this is to protect every single one of the horses I treat.

Please be vigilant. Thankyou
Charlotte x

We have confirmed a case of Strangles (Strep. equi equi) in a pony in the Crediton area.

The pony was recently purchased from a local Dartmoor Hill Pony sale on 28th October.

All horses on the premises in Crediton have been isolated, and the pony is making a slow recovery.

If you have any further questions about this outbreak, or if you have recently purchased a pony from this sale and are concerned, please call 📞 on 01363 83030

If you want more information about Strangles, we have a fact sheet available on our website:

Animal Communication,
Is it something that is very sceptical in the animal industry? Yes. That's okay, people are entitled to their opinions but all I ask is don't knock it until you try it.

My mission on this planet is to allow as many animals to have a voice as possible, enable the connection between human and companion to be more understood, address the animals' needs on an unmatched level and their purpose for being here in order to make their time on the earth more comfortable.

Some people look for 'scientific reasoning' because we all need validation before we go and spend money on something which is seen as sceptical, however I often find the evidence is in the session, when things I say resonate so deeply with what you as an owner have been suspecting, feeling, thinking, doing.

Veterinary intervention is a vital and necessary first step in animal welfare, but animal communication goes beyond what you see. You know your companion better than anyone else, I'm just here to 'bridge the distance' between you.

To do this, I tune into their energy which can be done from a photograph or in person. Here I can feel the way they are feeling, their desires, their needs, their environment and any stressors. I can communicate through the energy and relay back to you.

Earlier this year, I got called out to help a horse as it had been struggling with seperation anxiety and the owner had known her most of her life. Throughout the session the horse showed me a foal, which the owner knew nothing of, so I explained the foal was a bay and I could see it as clear as day. The horse continuously yawning throughout as she was releasing her story and feeling heard on a deeper level for the first time. After the session had finished, the owner messaged me later that day to say she had been in touch with the horses' previous owner and the mare had had a foal which unfortunately was taken away from her far too early. This enables the owner to have understanding of why she has seperation anxiety and changes the dynamics of the horse-rider relationship, In a further session we will help the horse to process this and begin to heal.

I've been told I have a gift, and I'm ready to use it. I'm very passionate about helping the body and mind and I'm now speaking out for the animals as they deserve to be heard. Let them have a voice. Put yourself and your own beliefs aside, don't knock it until you try it and allow your companion to tell their story. 💖
