IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ.

Parvo virus is a highly contagious disease that attacks the cells in the intestinal system and prevents the absorption of vital nutrients, causing weakness & dehydration due to diarrhoea and vomiting. Parvo is extremely dangerous and can prove fatal, particularly in puppies and unvaccinated dogs

❗️There has been a couple of cases of Parvo virus/suspected Parvo virus locally❗️

Symptoms include:
Diarrhoea (often bloody, smelly and watery)
Loss of appetite
Vomiting
Fever
Dehydration
Weakness / lethargy
Collapse

Please, please if your dog shows any signs of illness do not send them on group walks. This is for the safety of your dog and all the others they might come into contact with and help prevent the spread of the virus.

If you are at all worried please contact your vet immediately.

🐾 Meet Jorge, our newest member of the Paws & Play Adventures family! 🎉

This adorable Labradoodle joined us at the start of the New Year and has quickly become a star among our walks. Over the past couple of weeks, he’s made great friends with Norman and Rodney, and we couldn’t be happier!

Jorge has smoothly transitioned from being on lead to trying out a long line, and now he’s off lead, joyfully running around and playing with his pals. 🐶✨ We love having Jorge with us and can’t wait to see what exciting adventures await him next!

A family friend has asked me to post this for them:

Bob the Frenchie is looking for a new loving home! Bob is 3 years old and very loving and well behaved. The reason for rehoming is that him and his Frenchie brother are not suited to live together anymore due to them not getting along well so Bob will most likely be suited to a home with no other dogs. Bob is currently entire but the current owners are happy to get him castrated if required.

Besides not getting along with his brother, Bob is extremely loving and an all round good boy.

🎄🐾 Today, we celebrated our much-anticipated Christmas Adventure Walk, and it was a day filled with festive cheer! The sun beamed down as Santa posed for photos with all the pups (though a few were a bit unsure about Santa Paws! 🙈). Our furry friends enjoyed two hours of secure, free play, complete with agility challenges and fun Christmas games!

By the end of the day, all the dogs returned home completely worn out and thrilled with their Christmas goody bags. The field was a delightful sight, with pups dressed as gingerbread men, Santas, Christmas trees, and adorable holiday jumpers zooming around! 🤩 A special shoutout goes to Rudy’s mum for crafting the most jolly jumper, complete with tinsel, earning him the title of BEST DRESSED! What a festive day it was! 🎉🐶

❄️🐾 What a snowy adventure today at Paws & Play Adventures! After taking a snow day yesterday, we couldn’t wait to hit the trails with 33 wagging tails! 🎉🐶 Here is just a snapshot of some of our winter woofers today 📸☃️

From snowy dog beards to frosty fluffy tails and soggy paws, our pups had a blast zooming through the fluffy white stuff! 🌨️❤️ This magical snowfall has us feeling all kinds of festive and ready for the Christmas spirit!

Good morning everyone,

I hope this message finds you well! Regrettably, we need to cancel today's walks due to poor conditions on the side roads—I’m unable to leave my street at the moment.

If the weather improves this afternoon and the snow begins to melt, I’ll be happy to come by for quick visits for anyone interested.

I hope the snowfall hasn’t caused too much disruption for you all, and that those traveling to work are doing so safely.
