Silver Scales Exotic Asylum Silver Scales is a UK based non profit charity that aims to provide reptiles and exotic animals with a second chance of a loving home.

Through education and advice, we aim to improve the lives of reptiles/exotic animals (even bugs and spiders). Silver Scales are happy to help if you need to rehome your reptiles/exotic animals (dependent on species) including invertebrates, such as tarantulas, without any judgement. Unfortunately we cannot take in cats, dogs or large farm animals. If we cannot find a new home for them they will become one of our long term residents.

Sorry that the wildlife community has lost a pioneer in Simon cowell. We had the opportunity and privilege to work alongside him, we had many conversations sitting with his indian runner ducks and discussing how the world needs to conserve its wildlife, we butted heads and we laughed. We took care of his old tawney owls for many years. Here's hoping the work you started carries your name forward. Rest in nature.

Morning amazing animal people, we're up with the larks ( robins) this morning. Getting ready for the Harefield fete tomorrow, if you would like to meet some of our more unusual residents please come and say hi. Harefield village green 12-4pm lots of things to do including a dog show, hog roast and of course skunks!
