Silver Scales Exotic Asylum Silver Scales is a UK based non profit charity that aims to provide reptiles and exotic animals with a second chance of a loving home.

Through education and advice, we aim to improve the lives of reptiles/exotic animals (even bugs and spiders). Silver Scales are happy to help if you need to rehome your reptiles/exotic animals (dependent on species) including invertebrates, such as tarantulas, without any judgement. Unfortunately we cannot take in cats, dogs or large farm animals. If we cannot find a new home for them they will become one of our long term residents.

When an injured animal is first found try to box it and limit interactions place somewhere warm and fairly dark definitely quiet. Shock is the biggest killer to wildlife after humans, giving them the peace to recover is the best start to a journey of rehabilitation. We grab a quick photo to put with their information card then given food, water and any medication the vet has given, then left for at least a day with just peeking in to check on them. If they recover we try to take a sneaky photo before release. So hopefully we'll get to update you on this one soon, thanks again Lotus Exotics.

So big thank you to lotus exotics, our first party last night was brilliant, chaotic and mayhem. Hope everyone enjoyed it, look forward to the next one. Head over next weekend for spooky fun, handling sessions at £5 per person and family tickets available too, making it accessible to all as a regular event not just a once in a while treat. Aiming to educate and entertain as many people as possible. Hope to see even more of you.
