The Freelance Groom Offering professional clipping and trimming services across East Sussex

Hey everyone!!!

It’s been a while since I last posted so I thought I should update you all on whats been going on.

As a few of you know I launched a pet care business to run alongside my equine business a couple of years ago, in the past 9 months my pet care business has blossomed into my full time job.

Therefore ‘The Freelance Groom’ ceased all services, especially over the winter period.

I am still offering some riding work and yard duties local to BN27 but I am sad to say that my clipping services have come to an end.

Norman is in his 30’s & suffers with cushings, meaning he grows a thick, curly coat all year round.

I see Norman every 3 months to help keep him comfortable 🤎

The .method will never fail to amaze me.
Prince has been struggling transitioning to barefoot and sadly it isn’t going to work for him, so he is back in shoes because his comfort & well being is my top priority.
Yesterday I long-reined him & he completely exploded, took off up the arena & I lost him 😬
I realised I have done very little arena familiarisation with him since moving here because he was having a holiday at the time.
I’ve stripped everything back and today we revisited the .method & look at how relaxed he is.
Relaxed mind 🤝relaxed body = happy horse. 🐴

A busy morning yesterday!
1. A blanket clip for Magic who is very sensitive so I use my Harmony Plus clippers.
2. An Irish clip for Magnus who was perfect & stood wonderfully whilst being clipped, for him I used my Heiniger Saphir horse clippers.
3. Just a bib clip for Warrior including girth area, I actually used my Nova trimmers for this.

Achieved using my harmony plus clippers with A5 1.5mm snap on blades & nova trimmers.

Hey everyone! As per usual I am incredibly busy with clipping this year. I currently have no availability until the 14th November!
