They don’t all follow the plan. It’s another 3-4 weeks before she is due to be with her mate. This is when we can be tempted to pair too early. The Males are unlikely to be ready. Better to leave this non intensive Lutino hen on her empty eggs than to end up with clear rounds all over the birdroom. I will replace them with dummy eggs and leave her on them. If I remove them altogether she will just lay again. You must stick to what you have planned even though Facebook will be flooded with eggs and chicks. Those breeders obviously planned to go early and had things in place.
