Christmas tree Heggy.
A solo walk today as big brother Pokka is suffering from old age and needed a rest day.
Someone’s living their best life in France for her holidays
Proper snow! Helga loved it
Who doesn’t love a good snoof around a stubble field! Hound nose in full force!!!!
I was hoping that I would be posting updates from France, but the universe had other plans for us.
Sadly we couldn’t travel yesterday as when we went to check in we were told we need 3 months left on passports to travel out of the UK. Our daughter had 2 months and 3 weeks left before her passport expires so they refused to let hs travel. Utterly heart breaking as the planning has taken months. We’ve spent a small fortune on travel documents, meds for Heggy, the tickets, a new crate, muzzle, arranging care for our fish, cats, chickens and other dogs all to drive to Plymouth and be told your not going anywhere!
We decided to have the day on the coast before driving home and it was a wonderful few hours. To top it off Heggy made friends with a bouncy lab and they played lovely. She was also a very well behaved girl on and off the lead so that was a nice little boost.
We will get to France. Just goodness knows when!
And play was stopped for this. God knows what goes through her mind sometimes. She really is one in a million 💗💗💗
They love each other honest, Ted isn’t happy unless he is barking at something and the gingers are vocal players!!!
Confidence is creeping up a notch and definitely seeing more muscles!
(Excuse the crazy shouting and noises!!!)
Look at this girl, she is pure fabulous isn’t she. Stunning dog, super fast runner, great recall, happy little soul…..yes all great until a bloody hare pops up and yep, 2 out of 3 dogs go after it. I seriously thought Heggy would catch it. Ted came back, thankfully I’d put Pokka back on the lead already but Heggy kept going. Last saw her disappear into a corn field.
45 mins of waiting and calling (I thought it was best I wait at the gate where she went in) finally she appeared. Thankfully with no hare!
This could be hours of entertainment......
