Daijon found my forever home

Well Daijon (aka Jonny) has I must confess been - and still is! - not the easiest bloke. Putting it nicely he has character! I have called him a constant challenge but this weekend I was so proud of him. We have tried obedience classes but those proved too big a challenge and not at all to his liking and then we heard about Scent UK competitions. So we decided to have a go and this weekend was his first trial. Our trainer calls the whole thing brain games for dogs and he is certainly he certainly tires out his body for a short while after having used his too many grey cells! He is a laugh a minute and so so clever.

Went to vet about 2 weeks before Christmas for THAT operation below waistline. Result - numerous follow up visits numerous extra tablets extra hoods as they are very annoying so essential to destroy - on my third now extra large one and mum winging because has rope burn on fingers just because I took off at speed and canvas long line whizzed through her hand. Vet again tomorrow. Looking forward to the New Year!

It has taken a while but we are going to scent classes these are brain games for dogs but I am not really in need as my brain is far too clever by half!

Telling my friend Beau how clever I was last weekend !! Beau says if there is a Labrador that would like a very clever and playful boyfriend he is the guy! My Foster Mum and Dad say I am great and getting too fond of me although have just chewed her glasses case so not quite as popular at this moment!!

Well Thank you (we did not catch the name of the Apollo friends name) for putting some more pictures on of this special day meeting all sorts of doggy peoples. These extra ones show why it was such a fantastic ( and foster mum said a bit of a surprise!) fun day. An Apollo Angel was winner of the best Rescue Class . The Angel was Daijon aka Jonny so surely now my Forever home will have a very proud boy and my foster mum says I can keep my star and rosettes. It was all such fun!

What a fabulous day I had yesterday. My foster mum took me to the GSP Rescue UK meet the breed day. I had a brilliant time, I was a bit shouty when I first arrived but I soon relaxed and settled down and had a great time meeting lots of other pointers and their mums and dads. Foster mum says I did so well she's going to get me out and about a bit more so I can't wait for that. I'm currently in foster in Herefordshire and am still waiting for someone to offer me my forever home.

Wow Wow Wow Mum and I are so tired! have just had amazing day at GSP Welfare Day met so many lovely people - Well they thought I was lovely anyway! Will sort more pictures tomorrow because I wanted to win a rosette but had not thought about what colour they would be! we will put on my page the story of just how I did! Mum was so proud of me. Also met a few other Apollo Angel Mums and Dads. We are both going to sleep now.

Daijon is a lovely 4 month old pointer cross beagle boy currently in Cyprus who is seeking his forever home. He can travel to the UK end of March.
