Sadly we are now fully booked for dignified, individual cremations until we close for Easter.

We will re-open on Tuesday 22nd April.
If you require assistance during this time, we kindly suggest you contact your vet, veterinary hospital who may be able to assist you, or an alternative pet crematorium.

We are so sorry to those families who have tried to book an appointment with us this week and have been disappointed. As a small family run pet funeral home and crematorium, we continue to limit the number of beloved pets in our care because we would rather maintain the high level of care and dignity your furry family members deserve rather than accepting an unlimited amount of beloved pets and reducing our high level of service for profit.

Monday 14th April our last cremation day before Easter.
Sadly we cannot accept pets on this day as we do not store beloved pets in freezers so last appts (if avail) 12th April 9.30-12.30

Closed Tuesday 15th April to Mon 21st April inclusive
We will re-open Tuesday 22nd April

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
If your pet sadly passes away over the holiday, your vet or veterinary hospital will be able to assist you in offering their cremation service or may be able to keep your beloved pet until we re-open if you wish to use our service and we are able collect from your vet practice.

We are often asked these 2 questions so we thought it may be helpful to explain our replies again to families who may be considering our service;

Why do you have a weight limit for pets in our care?

To ensure our safety when lifting pets we care for beloved pets up to 40kg. If you have a large dog, we require a recent weight verified with your vet because many large pets who have mobility issues may put on weight as they are not exercising as much as they used to.
We, as a small family run pet crematorium look after your pets as much loved family members, with the dignity they deserve. We do not put pets into plastic bags for ease of storing and lifting, nor do van runs or mass van collections. We lift each pet into a bed and care for them with dignity.
Over the last 4 years, we have had many families saying their pet is definitely under 40kg, but when after we have brought them into our care and weighed them, they have actually been nearly 50kg.
We have sustained health issues caused from lifting larger pets from flats, houses and and vet practices which affects our ability to work and offer our personalised service. Therefore we require verification of your large dog's weight before we can offer to care for them.

Why do you not have availability when other pet crematoriums always have appointments?

Because we prefer to limit how many pets are in our care to ensure EVERY pet resting peacefully in our care receives the utmost dignity, compassion and respect. They are your family members and as such, deserve to be given the love and compassion they deserve. We are not a service who say yes to an unlimited amount of pets coming into our care.
Sadly that means, as a small family pet crematorium, we sometimes have to tell families that we are fully booked.
We always cremate pets one at a time, giving each pet the time they need to have an individual cremation with love and dignity, and then allowing plenty of time to carefully prepare their precious ashes to come home.
This is how we maintain the highest standards of care, cremations and ashes.

One of our lovely clients shared this touching poem by Rudyard Kipling after her beloved companion, best friend and much loved family member crossed over to the other side last week.

Four-Feet
I have done mostly what most men do,
And pushed it out of my mind;
But I can't forget, if I wanted to,
Four-Feet trotting behind.

Day after day, the whole day through —
Wherever my road inclined —
Four-feet said, "I am coming with you!"
And trotted along behind.

Now I must go by some other round, —
Which I shall never find —
Somewhere that does not carry the sound

PLEASE NOTE As we limit the number of pets in our care so we can provide the best funeral care for them, we are sadly fully booked again today and have limited appointments over the next couple of days.

We limit the number of pets in our care to ensure we provide the very best service resting peacefully in beds service and individual cremations with the utmost dignity, ensuring each and every pet has the compassion they deserve for their farewell journey.
This means we are often saying no to families who call us to care for their beloved pets.

Please remember if you wish to use our service and you are pre-booking your pet's farewell appointment with a vet, you can also pre-book our service too. This ensures we can discuss our availability.
We apologise to the many clients who have called us over the weekend and we are unable to offer an appointment to.

Thank you very much to handsome Marley's family for sharing this gorgeous photo of their special boy and writing this recommendation for our service. Marley was a very special member of his loving family and although sorely missed, he will be forever in their hearts.

Beloved Pet Funeral Care looked after our wee boy Marley. We sadly lost him on 17 Feb. My wife and I can’t speak highly enough about them. We felt that he was treated with the utmost dignity and love and we would highly recommend their fantastic service to anyone who has suffered such a devastating loss.
