Saving Souls Animal Rescue We are passionate about dog rescue and rescuing, rehabilitating and helping find homes for dogs in Shelters and Pounds across Southern Cyprus.

Saving Souls Animal Rescue Registered Charity 1209645. All our dogs are neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped before being rehomed. Most of our dogs are in Cyprus but are looking for homes in the UK. We have a small number of dogs in foster in the UK. You can view all the dogs we have available on our website here:

Adoption fee is around

£650, this includes travel to the UK and preparation for adoption: neutering, vaccinations, blood tests and health check, pet passport and micro chip. You can complete a Foster application form via our website here:

I am so heartbroken 💔 💔 💔 I’ve just learned that Buddy has passed away. He was 10years old when adopted last year but should have had several years ahead of him to enjoy a lovely retirement.

I’m sorry Buddy that you didn’t have the few years of retirement that you deserved.

We get into rescue to help dogs live their best lives, so when that doesn’t happen it is a massive blow 💔 run free little man 😔 🌈 🐾

I’m so worried about Piper and her siblings 🥹 we’ve had a few people interested in them but it’s all come to nothing.

I’m so worried they will end up growing up in a cage. They will grow to full size and no longer puppies and then their chances of being chosen are even less.

Being black they are also the last ones to get adopted 😩💔

She’s an absolutely gorgeous black Labrador cross.

As a young pup Piper and her siblings were ripped away from their mum and dumped in a field by some monster 🤬

There were 3 girls and 2 boys in the litter and they are all adorable.

Piper is one of the 3 little girls. She is 5/6 months old now. Her brother Harley, who she was sharing a cage with, flew home last month and is doing so well. It would be amazing if Piper could leave soon as well.

She is dog friendly and people friendly and is a cuddly playful puppy who desperately needs to swap a kennel cage for a loving home.

We’ve been promoting her for soooo long and now HAS to be her time 🤞 🤞🤞

💔💔 today we are heart broken 💔💔 Kira’s foster offer has fallen through and she’s off the flight unless someone else can step in 🙏

The flight is due to arrive on 30th March so if you think you could foster Kira please get in touch.

She’s a small girl at 10kg, 2 years old. She is shy so will need a patient fosterer, and she does have Leish. She needs another resident dog to help build her confidence 🙏❤️

Imagine being a 3 month old puppy and finding yourself in a Pound 💔 worse still….imagine that 4 months later you are still there 💔💔💔 this is the reality for Mosi and Layla.

We believe Mosi is a Labrador cross, weighing around 12 kg currently. They will grow into medium to large sized dogs.

Mosi is full of life, great with both male and female dogs, and absolutely loves getting attention from every human they meet. All she wants is to get out of the Pound and begin exploring the world.

She is not cat tested or child tested but that can be done for someone seriously interested in adopting her. Being puppies she will integrate well and learn to live with both no doubt.

I’m sorry gorgeous boy. 2 people interested and then just disappeared 🙄😭

We are coming to expect this more and more now. If you aren’t interested enough to proceed with adoption then please don’t waste our time by applying. It’s not fair on our volunteers, our rescuers or most importantly the dogs. While we speak to you we stop promoting the dog and then they miss the flight when you stop replying 😤

Anyway, this is wonderful stunning Pepe.

He was found a year ago on the road side, skin and bone, with a broken tail and absolutely terrified the poor boy. A kind lady rescued him and nursed him back to health and he’s been staying in a foster home in Cyprus ever since. But the fosterer cannot keep him so they’ve asked us to help find him a home and we are running out of time.

Pepe is a 1 year old Beagle/Pointer mix, but Beagle-sized. He is energetic and affectionate, and loves to run and play.

He needs frequent exercise, and loves to go on long walks. Pepe would make an excellent adventure buddy for an active household who will take the time to train him, and his gentle, sweet demeanor makes him equally happy to cuddle up next to you at the end of the day.

This is his last chance to find a home. He is equipped with an EU passport and we are willing to pay towards transportation. Please PM for more information.

Is there anyone for Ivan?

Ivan spent his whole life chained all alone in a back yard!!!! Then he was abandoned at a Municipality Pound!!!! This poor boy has literally had the worst life.

Ivan is good and friendly with humans.

He has never properly been socialised with other animals, so is not very good with other dogs and cats, so needs a pet free home.

Can you be Ivan’s hero?

Diesel and his brother Taz are gorgeous friendly brothers who came into rescue together at 5 months old and have a DOB of 20/8/2023.

They are still in rescue over a year later 💔

What’s their crime? Why aren’t they ever chosen? Why have we had not one single enquiry about them? ….I can only assume it’s because they aren’t cute fluffy small dogs?

Diesel is an amazing friendly boy who loves to play and would love a home where he can go for walks and explore the countryside.

Taz is great with all dogs, he plays with dogs of all sizes and ages at the home boarding.

He is approximately 28-30 kgs but probably should weigh less as he is a little overweight. He looks like a Labrador but has shorter legs.

Diesel is lucky enough to be in home boarding that we are paying for and not in a cage.

Diesel will make a great pet. He’s a healthy young boy. Please share his post so we can find him a home 🙏

What on Earth are we doing wrong in our quest to find Blossom a home?

Blossom is already in the UK in foster in Forest of Dean.

Toilet trained and used to living in a home.

Used to walking on a lead and learning off lead walking and recall.

Very dog friendly and would prefer a home with another resident dog.

Can live with cats.

Fine with children but older children please.

She’s 3.5 years old and is a sweet and gentle soul who once she gets to know you all she wants is cuddles.

She needs someone to take the time to build her trust and confidence and she would be the perfect addition to any family.

Oh my heart, how adorable is Annie.

She has such a sad story yet is such a wonderfully kind dog. Someone will be very lucky to adopt her.

She is good with everything, cats, dogs, kids, even chickens!

She is estimated to be 6 years old now and a labrador cross.

She has such a sad story having been found in a terrible Pound with her tiny puppies. The shelter volunteers took her out of there as soon as they could, but sadly she was already surrounded by some of her dead puppies in that Pound :( She went on to lose all her puppies :(

Let's show Annie how caring and kind humans can be and find here a home?
