Kerri’s Gonigle is the what’s app contact who runs group, 1hr walks on lead. Some of the dogs are reactive etc but you can give yours the room it needs. Very controlled be ideal for your recovering pet

Could I just remind anyone who is thinking about using a massage therapist that we need permission
From your veterinary practice under the 1966 vet act before we can arrange a massage session, this is to safeguard your pet.
This is normally done by emailing your vet practice asking for written permission signed by vet.
They may ring their clients to confirm or give you a medical reason why they would rather you didn’t use massage at this moment. Usually the sight of written declaration from owner signed by them requesting massage sessions is fine.This safeguards the massage therapists that there are no contra indications why massage should not go ahead. This is a safeguard to owners and therapists alike.
This is for the animals health and well-being, and shows the therapist professionalism.

Hi everyone I’ve not posted recently as I’ve been dealing with a personal situation so I’m back on top of it again.

I’m reviewing my fees for 2024 and have decided to charge sessions individually in agreement with clients plus small fee for travelling, I think it makes sense as I’ve found that on recent visits the animals I’m seeing are not always ready to receive therapy and times vary greatly from client to client subject to their dogs needs, so all fees will reflect up to rather than a set fee which in some cases will cost the client less than stated on website, it should not exceed those amounts.

Has your older dog developed one of the following.

Benign Lenticular Sclerosis where the eyes develop a bluish haze in the lens. (This is an age related progression for the older dog)

Or have they developed Cateracts, do you know the difference?

If not, it is very important that you get a vet diagnosis as cateracts can lead to blindness.
Early removal of cateracts will preserve your dogs eyesight, or they could develop Secondary painful diseases like Uvetritis and Glaucoma(eventually leading to blindness).
If your pet shows a bluish haze in its eye get it checked out by your dogs vet to save their sight,please do not ignore it.

Just completed my acupressure level 2 and feeling good about using it as another modality in my day to day business.

Acupressure will release endorphins helping to reduce pain, release muscle spasm, remove toxins and increase blood supply thus resolve injuries more readily, it can also enhance mental clarity which allows focus in training and performance, releases cortisone naturally which will reduce swelling and build the body’s immune system.

Recently came back from Oxford where I attended rose therapy acu-point 1 and 2. Acu 1 was earlier in the year.

Lucy yeomans presented both with comprehensive information on all the Bladder and all the major Meridians.

Learn a lot, and would recommend this to anyone interested in how powerful and effective this modality is.

Have just done a cpd with Svps education about myofascial pain in dogs, such an insight into how important fascia is, would recommend this to anyone wanting to gain more knowledge of the importance of this subject to the welfare of all canines.
