Hello everyone 🫶🏼

Just an update on Lupo 🐶

His back legs and coordination are slowly deteriorating, he’s been on a long medical journey from X-rays to having a Degenerative Myelopathy swab and a lot of pain relief.

After ruling out many problems it could be, the vets and neurological specialists suspect it’s something to do with his spine or brain 😢

We need your help to raise £173 to cover Lupo’s current medical bills and anything more will go towards a specialist neurological assessment 🥺

Good evening, we apologise a post has not been made sooner, as our hearts are truly broken and we needed time💔
These are words we've tried to put together a thousand times over to share the passing of our sweet girl, Poppy 🧡✨

As you know Poppy was surrendered to us, she was said to be a “healthy” dog with no medical issues. It soon became apparent we were misinformed about a health condition. Since finding this out, Poppy's medical journey with us had been hard and confusing.
We had seen multiple veterinarians which all led to very different answers. From NOT needing any treatment, to medication, to needing heart surgery and on her last assessment, her little heart not being strong enough to go through with the surgery.
From here we were advised by the vet that it was best to put Poppy to sleep and let her heart finally rest.
Our girl is now peacefully sleeping 🌈🌉🧡

Through Poppys condition we made sure she knew what it felt like to live, feel love and freedom all at her own pace 🌻🌿🐾

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who were with us on Poppys journey. Those who graciously donated and supported 🧡

Finally, we would like to address the money that was raised 🙏
As you know, rescue never stops.
We had another dog in our rescue that fell gravely ill, and funds were used for their emergency medical care which was required to save their life.

For those who do not agree with the way the money raised was spent within the rescue, please contact us directly and we will try our best to get a refund back to you.
We do not wish to hold any funds against anyone.

Hello everyone 🫶🏼

Just a quick update on Lupo 🐶

His back legs and coordination are slowly deteriorating and he can't do the things he loves like zoomies and going on long walks.

He’s already been on a long medical journey from X-rays to having a Degenerative Myelopathy swab and a lot of pain relief.

After ruling out many problems it could be, the vets and neurological specialists suspect it’s something to do with his spine or brain 😢

Which means Lupo now needs to see a specialist and have recommend hydrotherapy sessions in the meantime to improve his leg muscles and coordination 😊

Franky is 5 years old and very mischievous his foster has told us. You will usually find Franky exploring the sinks, shower or trying to sneak some food out of the cupboards. 🤭🐈 He is a sweet boy who loves cuddles. The foster believes he could easily be placed with children 10+ who have a basic understanding of boundaries and respect for small animals.

We are not sure how Franky is with other small animals but would be happy to help with proper introductions.

ZOEY

Zoey is 10-11 years old. She is very lovable and relaxed personality wise. Walks well in lead. She does not like her paws or ears being touched due to being neglected. The foster is working with her and getting her comfortable with her ears/paws being touched but due to it causing some pain it will take time and patience. We don't think she would suit a home with children due to this.

Zeke is currently resting up in the kennels and is in good spirits as he continues his journey to being 100% again! We are actively searching for a foster home for our good boy to continue his recovery in and we are hoping you can be the one! He needs 4-6 weeks of some good rest and lots of love ❤️

Our wonderful boy Zeke was urgently taken to the vet clinic on Friday as we got word from the kennels his back end was giving out 💔
When we arrived he was very excited to see us but just wasn’t himself 🥺

As our rescue funds are diminishing very quickly due to our weekly kennel bill, food bill and other expenses! We are putting out this plea to help us raise funds to cover Zekes scans that he received on Friday! The wonderful clinic has allowed us to make this payment in a few days to give us the opportunity to raise this money for his scans ❤️

Hello everyone, Lupo here 🫶🏼

I’m having some further examinations on my hips right now as I’m still feeling a little wonky 🫣 I’m on some of the good stuff that is keeping me comfortable right now whilst we wait for answers.
In the mean time it’s been recommended by the Doc that I need to be laying on a real fancy kind of bed (Orthopaedic) and to take some senior pills (“senior”)🙄😂… to help me feel more comfortable on a daily basis.

I’m wondering if you’d help the girls raise some pennies for me as my old age pension doesn’t kick in for a few more years 😉

Edwin is looking for a best friend he can love, chill on the sofa with, eat snacks (big foodie) and to go on small adventures (little legs) 🤭🤭…
He walks lovely on the lead at the heel.

He’s house and crate trained.
He can be left alone for a few hours without any issues.
He has a little travel sickness at times 🥺

For little legs he sure can jump! He will need a secure garden with 6ft fences.

Edwin would prefer to live as the only dog in the house. He could live with older children who will understand and respect boundaries ☺️

TEDDY🖤

Teddy's journey hasn't been easy, but he's ready to start a new chapter with a loving family.
