Introducing the newest Little Apprentice of the Tails + Whiskers family...๐— ๐—”๐—ฅ๐—Ÿ๐—” ๐—ช๐—”๐—ง๐—ž๐—œ๐—ก๐—ฆโค๏ธ

So....a quick catch up for those who need updating!

I appreciate my social media has been very quiet since around March without any reason but my pregnancy wasn't something I wanted to post online. All of my regular clients knew I was having a baby around the end of May so the people who needed to know did.

Unfortunately things can change and I was told I had to finish working earlier than planned due to medical advice. Walking a group of dogs, on my own, up the mountain, at 7 months pregnant was not practical or safe so I've practically been on sofa rest since then.

I've missed my dogs like mad, my little crew! I can't wait to get back out with them all, doing what I love!

Finally thank you to all my lovely clients for my gifts, cards and money when I finished for maternity leave. You're all so lovely!

But for now, it's time to enjoy our new little baby girl Marla! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅฐโค๏ธ๐Ÿพ

A little bit about me...

Hi my name is Devan & I have over 12 years' experience in animal care working in the Veterinary industry. I have also looked after sheep, cattle, horses, rabbits, reptiles and chickens over the years.

I qualified as an Animal Nursing Assistant in 2012, but more recently I have been the Practice Manager in a veterinary practice for the last 3 and a half years. As well as qualifying as an Animal Nursing Assistant, I have completed numerous courses to further my knowledge in animal behaviour and care.

The reason I have set up this new venture is because I have recently left my veterinary career to look after my daughter who was born in November 2018, so I am now taking my animal care to the community. I live in Ebbw Vale with my husband, Dan, our daughter Macie & Welsh Collie Dougie who is my pride and joy. I have also had cats, hamsters, rabbits, an African pygmy hedgehog, ducks and a ferret in the past!
