Passion doesn’t = right. I can be passionate about so many things but if they are just my opinion without any facts that’s as far as it goes. If I have passion and back that up with something tangible thats the best of both worlds. The issue with the dog work is the two get merged together so people equate a passionate opinion with a fact. Whilst your opinions matter that can also be damaging when you are trying to pass them off as factual

This is Zelda! She is my mum’s dog who she adopted through several years ago. Zelda has given my mum confidence, company and a friend so I can’t thank Estelle for helping my mum with some problems they were battling with

A huge shout out to Estelle and Lucky Paws.

Thank you for your help with Zelda from when she first arrived 3 years ago from Luckys Legacy and was so anxious she was too scared to go ourseide for a walk. Along comes Estelle and sorted that out. Zelda then decided to appoint herself Head of Security when that’s my job and it was barking when people walked past the window, when the phone rang and I answered it, when there was a knock at the door to I’ll just run into the garden and bark at nothing and if I know you then I’m so excited to see you I look like I’m fizzing🤣 oh and the icing on the cake was I’m going to tell my daughter’s Neoplolitan Mastiffs that she’s not your human. I decided called in the cavalry. Yep Estelle came to the rescue once more. Within 3 sessions the change was unbelievable - a complete turnaround for me and Zelda. Thank you so much for giving me the tools to sort out the issues we’d been having, we couldn’t have done it without you.

STAY IN YOUR LANE... 🫣

Controversial one coming today!

I have spent hundreds of hours and hundreds of pounds reading, studying, researching, shadowing, to be in a position where I can do what I do and actually know what I'm talking about, to physically be able to handle a dog, and have trained my own dog up to a pretty high standard.

So it really bugs me when people that have no qualifications or experience start dishing out advice, especially when it's pretty rubbish advice.... believe me, I've heard it all 🙈

Anyone can start up in a lot of dog professions with absolutely zero experience; dog groomers, dog walkers, dog trainers which is ridiculously concerning.

I would NEVER diagnose your dogs medical conditions, I'd give you details of a good physio (Physiotherapy with Emma) or vets (The Gatehouse Vet Centre) instead because I'm not qualified enough to make that call.

In the same way I wouldn't tell you whether to neuter your dog or not; I can explain how it might effect their behaviours and give you my opinion but I can't tell you what to do or what the physical complications might be.

I would NEVER tell you what to feed your dog because Nutrition is dog dependent and super complicated. I can advise what ingredients might effect their behaviour and recommend you to websites like allaboutdogfood.co.uk or a good dietician to chat to (The Canine Dietitian).

I know next to nothing about Dog grooming and so even trying to answer a question on that would be impossible, so I don't do it.

I have a team of people that I trust with my own dog completely, that I will refer you to because I'm not qualified to give you advice on medical conditions, grooming, diet etc! I stay in the lane I'm qualified in 🤔

Seen too many posts recently from people with no experience, no qualifications, offering behaviour advice which is completely wrong, dangerous and not something they're qualified or insured to give out....please stop doing it 🙈
