...and, that's a wrap for 2023! 🥳🙌

I would like to thank all of my wonderful customers for their support this year 🫶 You guys have been absolutely amazing and kept me going during a difficult challenge I faced a few months back.

I almost threw the towel in, BUT, the loyalty and support I had gave me the strength I needed to keep fighting, and, for that, I will be forever grateful to you all ❤️

I honestly can't imagine doing anything else other than grooming and walking your beautiful fur babies. I sometimes feel like I should be paying you for the pleasure and joy it brings to me, BUT, I'd struggle to pay my bills if I did 🙈🤣

Instead, please accept a big, heartfelt THANK YOU for trusting me with your fur babies. They have become a part of my family and I will continue to treat and love them like my own, for as long as you allow me to ❤️

Thank you also for the Christmas cards, gifts and tips - I have been well and truly spoilt 🥰

Wishing you all a very, Merry Christmas! Enjoy the festivities and make the best memories with your nearest and dearest ❤️ See you in 2024!

Ps. I've told Santa Paws that every single fur baby on my books has been good, so he should deliver everything they want 🤞🤣

🐾❤️ CUSTOMER ANNOUNCEMENT! 🐾❤️

After going through the most stressful and worrying two weeks ever, I have made the decision not to groom from home anymore.

Don't worry though, as this DOES NOT mean the end of the grooming services offered by Doggy Day Dream! 😁🙌

I am super excited to announce that I have found a new base to work from and I picked the keys up today, woohoo!! 🙌🥳

Grooming services will resume next week! The appointments that were recently cancelled will be rescheduled ASAP and all customers will be informed of the new location in due course.

I would like to thank you all for your kind words, support and patience during this difficult time - I am truly blessed to have such amazing and loyal customers 🙏

So, here's to new beginnings and I cannot wait to see your beautiful fur babies again! 🥰

🐾 IMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTICE 🐾

I regret to inform you that Doggy Day Dream will not be able to carry out any dog grooms at present.

Your fur baby's wellbeing always has been and always will be my main priority, and with the current situation, the safest option is to stop all grooms until the matter is resolved.

I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Every effort will be made to resume dog grooming services as soon as possible.

Since my post, I've had a few customers message me to find out if it was their dog who had fleas.

The last thing I want is for anyone to worry about this. Most dogs catch fleas at some point. My Alfie did years back, even though he was having regular flea treatment 🙈

It is what it is, I just need to put measures in place to safeguard my boys and home going forward 😊

So please don't worry guys. All I ask is for you to ensure they are given regular flea prevention treatment (from the vets) and to give them the once over before bringing them here.

🐾❤️ IMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTICE 🐾❤️

Going forward, I will no longer be able to allow dogs that come here for their groom into my living area. I will collect the dog by the front door and take them straight up to the groom room.

I am sorry to have to do this, but my dogs have contracted fleas from one of the dogs that has recently been for their groom, and despite treating the whole house and bathing them twice in flea shampoo, they still have them.

I am in the middle of carrying out a second deep clean of the house, which is extremely time-consuming and has meant that I have had to cancel the grooms I had booked in today and tomorrow. This results in a loss of income, which, as a small business, is far from ideal.

Please ensure that you check your dog prior to bringing them here for their groom and if there is any evidence of fleas, please cancel your appointment accordingly.

I would urge you all to use flea treatment from a veterinary practice only, as over the counter ones aren't as effective in keeping fleas at bay.

Cidre tries her very best to avoid being groomed 🙈🤣 She's fine with having a bath, but absolutely hates the hairdryer love her! She gave me a run for my money this time 🙈🤣

This was the second time for me to groom Ronnie. He hasn't been groomed often, so he can be a little feisty on times. He made so much progress during this visit though! At the start, I couldn't brush him without him trying to bite the brush, but towards the end, he happily allowed me to do it 🙌 I was so proud of him!
