It all started with one little ball of fur...

She was the tiniest, fluffiest little thing you ever saw. She was the love of my life, my little soulmate. She brought so much joy, so many laughs, so much trouble and naughtiness...

Every year, every day, I loved her more.

Endless naps and cuddles and games. My best friend.

But then one day I discovered she was sick. For some reason I will never understand, she wasn't allowed to stay with me. I tried to save her, couldn't accept that this was real. I thought we would have years and years together ahead of us still. But within a few months she was gone.
