Until it happens to you, you don't realise how this weather really can affect your pets.

Please remember your Dog won't die from missing a walk but heat stroke can be fatal.

After the trauma of witnessing a medical emergency this afternoon with a dog suffering heat stroke and collapse 😢 I am heartbroken 💔
This is totally preventable…I can’t unsee the terrible suffering this dog endured….please 🙏 heed all the warnings in hot weather and never risk your dogs life for a walk …EVER 😭

Next time you question why a Dog walker or pet sitter is "too expensive" please bear this in mind

"Oh that's a bit expensive, my cousins daughters 15 year old friend said she can do it cheaper"

That's cool, does your cousins daughters 15 year old friend have her canine first aid training? Is she DBS checked? Does she have full insurance?

Does she provide treats & P**p bags for your Dog? Longlines so they can explore a bit further but still be kept safe? Cooling bandanas for when it gets a bit warmer?

Does she carry a first aid kit in case of emergencies?

Is this her full time job? is this how she makes a living?

Does she have an understanding of Dog behaviour? Of when they're nervous or likely to react?

Does she know what to do if your dog gets a Tick? Or where the closest vet that carries anti venom is?

No? That'll be why she's so cheap then!

Please value your Dog walker as much as they value your custom & Dogs care & well being.
