Our awesome pup Digby took part in the BBC filming yesterday when they visited Hypo Hounds.

We were delighted to welcome BBC News reporter Louisa Pilbeam to our offices yesterday! She fell in love with all the dogs (especially Digby)
“Look who I met today! What a privilege to meet the experts at Hypo Hounds who train puppies to save the lives of children with Type 1 diabetes. (I had to hide my hair as Digby ate it !)”🐶

Duke was chosen last night by his new parents.
It’s been a lovely journey meeting Dukes parents. We have been in contact with them for many months. It’s been lovely getting to know them and then breeding a lovely puppy for them.

Happy Birthday to Hypo Hound Simba and also his sister Narla who are 2 today!
Simba is described as “the most gentle AND cheeky companion to all our children and he is my right hand man! My mood stabiliser, an amazing cushion and shoulder to cry on at times. But above all he is Erin’s life line! We are so incredibly lucky to have you Simba! We wish you all the best. And although there is no walkies today or tomorrow (HOT HOT HOT) we shall make it up to you on Saturday. We are taking you to our most favourite place on earth , Isle of Weight.

One of our life saving pups. Simba has been trained by Hypo Hounds to alert on the child who has type 1 diabetes.

When their blood sugars go too high or low Simba will make sure people are aware and help is summoned.

The dogs that are trained to do this can beat technology as you can see from this post.

We are very proud to say Simba is an Oxneygreen Labrador.
