West Surrey Riding Club is a British Riding Clubs Area 11 club based within the Cranleigh and Guildford area.

We are a small and friendly club involved in all aspects of BRC activities from Teams to instruction, jumping to dressage and social events.

The great Seabiscuit.

The diminutive (15 2) champion defeated triple crown winner, War Admiral by four lengths in a match race that thrilled millions.

Several movies were made about the horse, all entertaining. I just watched one of them which inspired this post.

Congratulations to all our members who have qualified for the dressage championship to be held on 7th August.
If you didn’t manage to get to a qualifying competition please still enter as we will be holding an open section.
We will also be holding our fun dressage classes.
Looking forward to seeing you all there.

🌟 WSRC Members Comined Training “Give it a go” event on Saturday 30th July 🌟

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to have fun doing combined training as a learning experience at Westland Farm.

You will ride your selected dressage test, run through inprovements and then ride the test again scored by a BD judge. You will then go on to a round of show jumps, where you will ride the course, be taught tips for improvement and then ride the course again.

Options for CT:
Intro B & 30cm - 55cm
Prelim 12 & 30cm - 55cm
Prelim 12 & 50cm - 70cm
Novice 27 & 50cm - 70cm
Prelim 12 & 70cm - 85cm
Novice 27 & 70cm - 85cm
