Sorry for the late post, and the rubbish pictures, don't think I got one this week that not all blurry 😔 time for a new phone I think, the rain and taking pictures really doesn't work with dogs and zoomies!!
We've had a lovely week, even though the weather hasn't been on our side. Just making the most of these beautiful faces for the next few weeks. Going to miss them all so much. ###

It's been five years since starting Roam and Ramble and seven years of dog walking altogether, the time has flown by and I've enjoyed every moment ❤️❤️
I've decided now is the time to move onto pastures new and set myself some new life challenges.
It's with a heavy heart that I tell you my last dog walking day will be Wednesday the 31st January 2024.
I wanted to thank all of my loyal customers for making my little business such a success, for trusting me with your babies, for the kindness you've shown me during these five years, alot of you have been a shoulder to cry on while dealing with the loss of both my parents and a step parent, thankyou for letting me snot on your shoulders on bad days and for being friends. I'm so grateful to you all and your dogs, I've been so lucky to call this my job for so long.
I'm going to miss you all, most of all your dogs!!
I will be sure to speak to you all over the next few weeks to discuss arrangements for your dogs from February onwards and offer personal recommendations for future dog walks.

Unexpected snow shower this morning, the dogs a had a blast!! Unfortunately the snow was also covering a giant pot hole in the road so we popped a tyre 🙄 all were happily warming up in the van while it was being sorted and I'm now defrosting by the fire!! Have a lovely weekend and stay cosy. ###

A few photos of these beauties are long overdue. Not been taking many photos due to be being drenched 95% of the time but here's a few from the last couple of weeks.
It's been getting very wet and muddy so please remember to leave out coats and towels. (And cover hallway mirrors so I don't frighten myself when I catch a glimpse of me without my waterproof mascara 🤣) lots of love ###

With temperatures this week being between 27- 30 degrees all walks will be early for the rest of the week and shorter, pickups will be between 8.30 -9.30 to get them home before the midday sun.
I realise this isn't ideal for people who are at work all day so if you'd like to add an afternoon visit,so i can let them out for a wee also please do let me know and I will do my best.
I will check water dishes are full and cold when dogs are dropped home. If youdlike me to do anything else to keep them comfy and cool, frozen kongs, fans switched on then I'm happy to do that too. Just send me a message.

Hi everyone, I wanted to let you know that from the 1st of October I will be increasing my prices slightly,
I've been putting this off for as long as possible but it's become necessary to continue. My field maintenence costs have been rising, and also the cost of living which is affecting us all.
From October dog walks will be charged at £14 for one dog.
Two dogs from the same house will be charged at £22.

It may seem like a small thing but this is another big step in the right direction, coming to find me in the kitchen is something totally new and brave for this girl who I've had the pleasure of watching come out of her shell very slowly for the past 18 months. Everyone has been on top form this week, the cooler weather really makes a difference and the dogs have had a blast with each other chasing around and being silly. Every group seem to be a perfect fit for each other, they all get on so well as you can see from the pictures 😊 they really do have so much fun togeather, and I get the honour of being the personal taxi driver, chief cuddler, refreshment officer and poo picker upper 🤣
Wouldn't change it for the world!!!

We managed to avoid the heat as much as possible this week with some walks earlier and always in the shade and home visits.
The dogs have enjoyed the paddling pool to cool off (when buddy was kind enough to move over and share!)and a fully stocked bar of cold fresh drinking water.
Hoping for a cooler one next week but as always I will let you know if walk times will be changed to accommodate the weather to keep them all cool and safe.

Hoping the storm blows over quickly but if anyone would prefer to cancel walks today there will be no cancellation charge. Dogs safety comes first always, so if your dog is particularly nervy or hates thunder please let me know.

I've been getting lots of love and cuddles, just what the doctor ordered. I count myself lucky to do this job, after the last few months it would be very easy to want to hide away and feel sorry for myself, these babies make getting up in the morning easy.
