Something we hear alot "thats cheaper in B&M or pets at home"
Yup... these large companies buy on a massive scale and can sell at cheaper prices.... HOWEVER.... where were they at the peak of the pandemic when they ran out of cat litter and small animal bedding?
Did they deliver to your door? Did they care about you and your pets on a personal note?
Nope... yet most people have gone back to these stores to save 20p, 50p sometimes maybe a £1 or more. But behind every small business is a family. A hard working family who are battling through testing times. The more you buy from local businesses, the more chance they can build up to offer 'cheaper' prices. The more you support your local businesses the more the economy grows. So next time you want to save a small amount on your products (this applies to everything, not just pet products) just think about those smaller people. Even if its once a month you go to your local pet shop, coffee shop, sandwich place..... small changes make a HUGE difference
And on a final note.....
you dont get the banter or customer service with the big stores.. you would with us small people....
