Well, after Atlas' first full summer with us, we can confirm he is not a water dog yet, despite our best efforts. Maybe next year...

We will break it gently to Atlas that the cooler weather will be returning soon but looking forward to all the autumnal walks that are still to come! 🍁

✨1 year of Atlas✨

Happy 'Gotcha Day' to this star, who continues to learn, grow and charm everyone he meets.

Atlas has become a confident and playful boy who is not fazed by much, aside from some loud noises and sneezing... yes, sneezing! Nonetheless, that is world away from where he was at this time last year, where we couldn't make a move without him jumping.

He is happy to talk to humans and four legged friends alike, enjoys frequenting local dog-friendly restaurants and will do anything for a good treat.

In fact, we are fairly sure he has been here longer than a year as it's certainly hard to recall a time before Atlas.

Once again, a big thank you to those at Rehoming Cyprus Pointers for getting Atlas to his forever home. 🐾

Here's to many more adventures boy. 💕🏞️

9 months ago we picked up a timid, shaking dog from the pet courier van and here we are, taking a confident, playful, albeit cauld tattie of a dog in a new van, on a new adventure. 🐾

✨3 & a bit months of Atlas✨

What a wee star. Atlas has made so much progress in the last few weeks.

He's totally settled, wants to play with every dog he sees and charms everyone with his big brown eyes - he definitely knows what he's doing. 🥰

He has also claimed the couch as his own so we now sit on the floor - just kidding!

✨4 Weeks of Atlas✨

In just 4 weeks, Atlas has settled in incredibly well. He's making amazing progress with us and is getting cheekier by the day.

He's been to the beach, the country park and has even ventured up to the North of Scotland, although he did find it a bit chilly... We've not had the heart to tell him that this is actually the summer. 😬

He's done lots of socialising with dogs, people and new environments but it seems he missed the memo about being a high energy dog as his favourite things to do, is to come home and find a comfy spot for a snooze! 🥰

Today, Atlas made two new friends, Pepper & Electra. I suppose he made four new friends if you count the humans too.

Atlas and the girls played in the garden before going for a great big walk around our local country park where Atlas walked confidently past lots of people, bikes, fields of cows and even horses being ridden along the path. A day of big achievements!

He's now curled up in his bed snoring. Literally, snoring.

Atlas made his owners very proud today but little does he know, he's opened the doors to many more long and exciting walks and we can't wait! 🏖️🏞️🌻

Atlas wasn't sure about his harness, in fact he still isn't, but he's beginning to realise it means he can go on lovely walks and experience all the new sounds and smells!

Orange is definitely his colour. 🍊

✨One week of Atlas✨

Atlas has come to realised just how much fun it is to roll in the grass and is beginning to show more interest in his toys. He's also nailed looking adorable while playing with his blanket.

It's lovely to see him developing and settling in a little more, day by day.

Reece (now known as Atlas) arrived last night and is slowly exploring his new home!

He is a little unsure at the moment and incredibly exhausted but he's found himself a cosy corner and is beginning to recuperate from his long journey.
