We absolutely love having updates from our clients with how well they're doing.
Just a little clip with Arlo and Poppy, these pair get so over excited around eachother for it to be extremely difficult to have a walk together.
But, with keeping up with the exercises outside of the sessions really pays off and it is great to see these guys really keeping on top of and being able to walk together without the over excitement 🐾
A Very small snippet of Jasper with his walking.
This is absolutely huge for Jasper and it's taken a lot of patience and effort to get him to this point of walking. 🐾
Jasper has gone from constantly barking and over excitement when getting him out of the car and also springing forward and extreme pulling from him but with a lot of time, patience and consistency, we are getting to the goal that his mum wanted from him 😁
Training is not always easy, we do have our challenges but when you stick with it, it absolutely pays off 🐾🐾
Something a little different for you guys today, here are some clips from muzzle training with the lovely Duke. For a bit of background he’s a lovely boy but struggles with the vets due to past traumas meaning he now needs to be muzzled for visits. His owners enlisted our help as he has had bad experiences with muzzles in the past meaning when we started he couldn’t even stand the sight of it let alone put his head inside. This is session two and he has made HUGE progress. I want to demonstrate the importance of taking things like this at your dogs pace, I moved a little too quickly and spooked him meaning we had to take it back a step to rebuild trust and confidence. I want Duke to feel in control of the situation and build positive associations so when he needs a break, he gets one, and if we need to go back a step, we will. I live by the motto of slow and steady over fast and fail, which we all need to sometimes remind ourselves, as you can see in the video. Knee smashing it guys you’re doing an incredible job! 🐶 #Muzzletraining #positivereinforcement #forcefree
