Week 4! π°
Getting your rabbit neutered by a rabbit-savvy (!!) vet can greatly improve a bun's quality of life.
Neutering can help to reduce aggression, territorial behaviour, and can also help when bonding two or more rabbits. As well as this, it can reduce spraying/marking and improve their temper overall!
In females, spaying removes the risk of pregnancy, false pregnacies and greatly reduces the risk of developing uterine cancers and infections which is very common in young female rabbits.
Although this procedure has become more commonplace in recent years, there are still risks involved with anaesthetising rabbits and you should be sure to talk to your vet and do your own research before making a decision.

Week 3! π°
Another neccessity for your buns is to provide a balanced diet. The wrong diet can cause all sorts of health problems like dental disease, gut stasis and obesity.
As a general rule, a rabbit's diet should consist of 85% grass or feeding hay, 10% greens and 5% good quality pellets (avoid muesli to discourage selective feeding).
As well as this, it's important to remember that the recommended amount of treats for a rabbit is 1 level tablespoon of treats per 5 pounds (2.2kg) of rabbit. Apollo and Athena love naturally dried apple pieces!

We made it to week 2!
Providing SAFE toys for our bunnies isn't just a recommendation, it is essential!
Toys that can be chewed and gnawed are a must-have and will help keep their ever-growing teeth healthy and trimmed. It's also essential that rabbits are mentally stimulated and active. As we know, boredom can lead to depression and health problems, so it really is important!
Lots of commercial rabbit / small animal toys have hidden additives, glues, and other unsafe ingredients or parts, so it's really important to double check these before you buy.
