Bird Flu is ripe across the UK and Europe at the moment..

Unfortunately this means allot of dead birds are washing up on beaches. Some still dying! On my walk today I saw several. Please be careful not to touch them or let your dog near them as you can contract the virus.

It's unusual for humans to fall ill from this but some of the signs you need to look out for in your dog and yourself are..

1) Diarrhoea
2) Sickness
3) Stomach Pain
4) Chest pain
5) Bleeding from the nose and gums
6) Conjunctivitis

Make sure to wash your dog when returning from the beach and wash your hands. Or carry anti bacterial gel with you on your walks!

Working on some lead control today! If your dog is pulling on the lead while your walking its a sign that your dog is controlling the walk and not you. This can lead the dog to feel they need to protect you as there in control, this often then leads to barking at other passing dogs / cyclists etc. When adding "Basic Training" to your walking package we make the walks more mentally stimulating for your dog and can teach them things such as how to walk on a loose lead as shown in the video above.
