A lovely two days spent in great company at back to back Boston shows!

Wednesday Kick started what turned to to be a fabulous two days for Minnie and Her family!

Lulu - Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW
At her first attempt qualified for the Junior Warrant Semi Final from an entry of 64 dogs all present!

Lulu - later won best of breed in ETTs and was later awarded a lovely group 2 in a super toy group!

Marvellous Minnie - Ch Witchstone Minnehaha
Won the Toy Veteran Group and Later strutted her stuff to win Best Veteran In Show!

On Thursday it was all Marvellous Minnehaha
Where she Won her 19th CC from the Veteran Class and topped it off with Best Of Breed and Best Veteran in Breed! Minnie later took group 2 in a super veteran group!!

Aster Nasabe It’s On The Cards For Boimans (1CC 1BOB) Nailed 1st her limit class!

Super proud to see Minnie’s Granddaughter Win the RCC , Best Puppy in Breed , Puppy Group 4 and Minnie’s Grandson Best Puppy dog plus another Minnie Granddaughter Best Special Beginner in Breed and Group 4!

It’s early days in the Our Dogs rankings but I’m ever so proud to see in Print up until the end of May so far we currently hold places in 3 leaderboards!!

The 2024 show season is certainly in full flow and I’m sat here now reflecting on two super successful Weekends showing for our Mother Daughter Duo!

Southern Counties
Was all about that Girl! The Marvellous Ch Witchstone Minnehaha!
1st in her Veteran Class RBCC and BVIB!
Her Daughter Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW
2nd in Open and 1st in a quality Open stakes!

Minnie later showed her heart out to win the Toy Veteran Group in strong competition!

We returned on Sunday where she once again showed to her hearts content and although unplaced in BVIS we couldn’t be more proud of this very rare English Toy Terrier B&T Achievement!

It was great to have the support and company of Charlotte Roskell who also won the Toy Puppy Group on the same day with her ETT a Ch Nasabe Don’t Tell Him son🥳

Possibly the 1st time ETTs have won 2 groups at the same show on the same day?

Moving on to our latest trip to Three Counties championship show
This time it was all about That young gun!
Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW who at only 21months took her 6th CC and 5th Best of Breed in strong competition!
Lulu later won a quality Open stakes too.

Minnie Ch Witchstone Minnehaha won Veteran Bitch and BVB!
Minnie later won a nice Veteran Stakes too.

Aster Nasabe It’s On The Cards For Boimans (1CC 1BOB) came out for a play and was also placed first in a quality special yearling stakes!

Catching up on some great Nasabe Success!

A fabulous weekend away last weekend in Scotland with Debbie and the dogs for the SKC Double Show!

Lulu - Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW continued her winning ways and Won her 4th CC and 3rd BOB!
Her Dam Minnie - Ch Witchstone Minnehaha Won another Veteran Class and later declared BVIB and won a nice Veteran Group 3 at the May Show.

At the October Show we only had Lulu - Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW entered as there was no Veteran class for me to split the girls up!
Lulu won another Nice open class and later was awarded BB and BOS!

Our Recently crowned Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW Won the BCC (her 5th) and BOB her 4th CC in a row !

Her Dam Marvellous Ch Witchstone Minnehaha Won another Veteran class and was declared BVIB later in the day Minnie took a great Group 4 in strong competition!

In the second half of the day we held our new Club Championship Show!

This Time Minnie Ch Witchstone Minnehaha turned the tables on her daughter winning a beautiful Open and Veteran and later the BCC (Her 18th) RBIS & BVIS!! Superbly handled by Andy Leonard who she still loves very much!!

Yesterday at The National Dog Show Lulu won her third and crowning CC with Best of Breed and can be known as

Since the beginning of the 2024 Show season Lulu has been unbeaten in her breed classes and Won 3 CCs from just 5 Shows!

I’d like to give my heartfelt thanks to all the judges below for seeing the great qualities in Lulu that i did when i picked her as day old puppy 😍

Vanessa Wegmann for awarding her first CC at Manchester. Lee Cox awarding her second with Best of Breed at Welks, and National judge Jenny Miller for awarding her the all important Crowing CC 👑 with best of breed.
And later a quality shortlist in the Toy Group under Breed Specialist Richard Haynes .

Yesterday her daughter Nasabe Play The Game JW (Sharex Dragon Prince X Ch Witchstone Minnehaha) Won the Bitch CC (Her 2nd!)and Best Of Breed

Also Interestingly enough Marvellous Ch Witchstone Minnehaha Won Best Veteran In Breed herself

And a Minnehaha Grandson won the Dog CC and Best Puppy In Breed and a Minnehaha Granddaughter Bitch RCC and Best Puppy Bitch!

CRUFTS 2024 BEST OF BREED ENGLISH TOY TERRIER B&T FROM RECORD ENTRY!

CHAMPION NASABE DON’T TELL HIM.

There is no doubting in anyone’s mind that as a breeder or exhibitor Best of Breed at Crufts is always the dream and this was no doubt the same for me!

When Pikes owner Andy Leonard honoured my dream to handle Pike once again on the green carpet I just couldn’t wait for the day to come!

Pike and I have a special bond and always have since he was a puppy in my hands all through to date. So showing Pike at Crufts was a dream come true.

Pike and I lined up in a star studded Open class of 11 including 7 UK champions and 2 multi champions. He completely showed his socks off and went onto win his class. He later excelled in the challenge to win the Dog Challenge Certificate (His 4th). It was safe to say my face was a picture and having co breeder Hazel there to witness it was even more special.

Pike later took on his Kennel mate Ch Witchstone Cheyenne Falls for BOB and after pushing each other all the way Pike was declared Best Of Breed! A real dream come true!

Pike and I later entered onto the big stage and he showed beautifully and held it all together for the cameras. Pike added to the day by being shortlisted in the Toy Group which was the icing on the cake for me! I later found out he was the 1st English Toy Terrier shortlisted in a Crufts Toy Group since 2019 when his mother won Best of Breed and is also the 1st male English Toy Terrier B&T to win Best of Breed since 2014!!

My sincere thanks goes out to the greatest mentors ever!! Andy Leonard and Nick Witchstone Gourley for all the help and guidance they have given me over the years. I am forever grateful for all you do.

What a simply fabulous way to start the year!

The Nasabe Team Did the ‘Double’ in the Bitch Challenge with Nasabe Play The Game JW (Lulu) Slamming her first CC and BOS!Adding to her little tally of RCCs as a puppy!
Her Dam Ch Witchstone Minnehaha (Minnie) Won her first ever Veteran Class and picked up the RCC behind her daughter and eventually finished up BVIB many thanks to Nick Witchstone Gourley for handling Min Min in the challenge she certainly enjoyed her time with her former Dad!! The Girls also picked up some good placings in their stakes classes Minnie 4th in Veteran Stakes and Lulu 3rd in Junior Stakes.

You know what they time say goes fast when you’re having fun!!

Nothing less can be said for the fun me and this girl has had in the last few years and I could not be more prouder to celebrate her 7th!!!! Birthday today officially a Veteran!

Minnie is a true heart dog and Hazel , Colin and I cannot thank Nick and Andy enough for giving us the opportunity to welcome Minnie into our lives she has been an absolute joy in and out of the show ring and in the whelping box too she’s whelped 2 CC winners 1 now a champion 2 Championship puppy group winners too we look forward to seeing how Minnie’s offspring progress in the ring this year and hopefully for many more we hope they can follow in her footsteps as Minnie has quite the record herself as many know despite having a rather large break from the ring to allow new kennel mates to break onto the scene she has still made a selection of appearances over the last two years and has certainly booster her tally of CCs there really isn’t much Minnie hasn’t done in the show ring CH Witchstone Minnehaha ,Pup of the Year Finalist,Puppy Group Winner,Junior Group Winner ,Toy Group Winner ,Crufts BOB winner ,Winner of 17 CCs
And also an ETT Club 'Best in Show winner.!

We really can’t thank everyone who’s made the Minnie dream happen and to all those judges who have awarded so many top honours we really do appreciate her in every way so with that we wish Minnie all the best in her veteran years and we hope you will too we cannot wait for what the future still holds for this special girl! 🥳

That’s it! Our 2023 show season is over and I couldn’t be more proud of how our dogs have done in and out of the show ring!

This year two very special young ladies made their debuts Nasabe Play The Game and Nasabe It’s On The Cards for Boimans both Girls have certainly had years to remember!

Nasabe It’s On The Cards already sitting on a CC & BOB has to be her highlight of a super puppy career not forgetting her excellent placings during her visits to open shows!

Nasabe Play The Game has certainly done her fair bit of promotion for English Toy Terriers this year finishing Our Dogs Top English Toy Terrier Puppy for 2023 and Topping this years Three Counties Championship Show Toy Puppy Group!
She had many group placements through out her puppy career including a memorable PG2 at the last ever East Of England Championship Show! Her results has done me so proud this year I could write I book but I will try to keep it reasonably short as her successes are also all listed on Our recent Our Dogs Annual Advert but I must include how proud I am for her to not only Gain her Junior Warrant but also be one of the fastest I’ve ever seen to do so! At the tender age of 8.5 months🥳

Where do I start with this boy!

Hazel and I could not be more proud of how young Pike has Excelled in the show ring this year gaining his Champion Title very quickly with limited shows due to his fabulous owner Andy Leonard’s and Super Handler Nick Witchstone Gourley’s Judging commitments

And finally the one and only Ch Witchstone Minnehaha this girl is certainly the gift that keeps on giving and I could not be more proud to have her as part of my kennel back when we brought Minnie in 2021 Nick and I both agreed she had nothing to prove in the breed ring already being a multi CC winning Champion so we decided that I would selectively show her in the Champion Stakes but after a very long break from showing completely we just couldn’t resist bringing Minnie back out for a few shows each year and this year Minnie certainly didn’t disappoint adding 4 more CCs to her name bringing her upto 17 CCs including a Toy Group 4 at Welsh Kennel Club we look forward to campaigning Minnie in 2024 as it soon enough be her 7th birthday veteran here we come!!

On that note there is not one but two more exciting ways to finish this post we finished the show season in style with two shows closing our calendar Ladies Kennel Association and Wealdstone & Northolt Canine Society
With Andy Leonard (Witchstone) Judging LKA Minnie came as a spectator so we just had the two young Stars Aster (Nasabe Its On The Cards For Boimans and Lulu (Nasabe Play The Game JW)

Both Girls places 1st in their Junior and Limit Classes many thanks to Andy for these placements and of course thinking so highly of our girls!

At Wealdstone we only had Lulu entered in AVNSC Toy no classes for us on this day and despite that she didn’t disappoint being Awarded Best AVNSC from the Open class and later Awarded the Toy Group (Her 7th) at Open level and later finished off with Reserve BEST IN SHOW Lulu also Topped a quality Junior stakes and Minnie 2nd in a star studded CHAMPION Stakes!

More Double Trouble

A simply fabulous day at Welsh Kennel Club

Welsh kennel club see the second Mother and Son double of the year!

This time Ch Witchstone Minnehaha turned the table on her son Nasabe Don’t Tell Him who won the CC and BOB at Leeds Ch a show this time was Minnie’s time to shine where she won BCC #17 pipped her Son Pike for BOB and went onto win Toy Group 4 in super strong competition!

Hazel and I are both thrilled to see young Pike owned by Andy and expertly handled by Nick win his 2nd CC fingers crossed #3 isn’t far away😍

Lovely day out At Bournemouth Championship Show

Minnie Ch Witchstone Minnehaha Won Open Bitch and went onto win BCC No16 we’re so proud of this special Girl despite having been in and out the show ring due having her babies over the last few years she still comes back out to prove she still has what it takes to be at the Top! Thank you so much to Nick and Andy for entrusting is with this special special Girl! And of course Breed Judge Mea Kendall for thinking so highly of her.

Minnie’s Daughter Lulu (Nasabe Play The Game JW) also Topped a nice large Puppy Stakes under Judge Mark Cocozza and bagged a nice £25 to go into the pot!

Yesterday we headed off to Paignton & District Fanciers Association Championship show with our 3 Girls and the girls certainly put on quite the show

Lulu Nasabe Play The Game JW being the days superstar Winning puppy Best Bitch and Best Of Breed and of Course Best Puppy In Breed she was later Shortlisted In the Toy Puppy Group under Toy Specialist Tony Allcock

Skyy Witchstone Storm A Brewing At Nasabe Won Limit Bitch and went onto win Reserve Best Bitch!

And not forgetting the Gorgeous Minnie Ch Witchstone Minnehaha also won her Open Bitch Class 😍

She later went onto to Win the Toy Group and Toy Puppy Group in style under Judge Kirsty Ryan

Finishing off the day nicely Lulu was awarded Reserve BEST PUPPY IN SHOW 😍😍 under Judge Carol Moore

What a lovely way to end for one our most memorable Championship Dog Shows
East of England will always be one we’ll never forget one where we actually won our 2nd CC and BOB with our Home Bred Ch Nasabe Lily Marlene JW

This time East of England was another one for our memories where young Lulu Nasabe Play The Game Won a large puppy bitch class and later went onto win Best Puppy Bitch Reserve Bitch Challenge Certificate and Best Puppy In Breed many thanks to Breed Specialist Haydonn Wines for thinking so highly of Lulu

Lulu’s successes didn’t stop there where she later went onto be awarded Toy Puppy Group 2 many thanks to group judge Graham Godfrey 😊

To finish off nicely I’ve opened my emails to receive confirmation that Lulu has been awarded her Junior Warrant at the tender age of 9 months 😍

What a day at Windsor Championship Dog show!!

Aster Nasabe It’s On The Cards for Boimans
Owned by myself and Jan Harman and Tim Harman
Was the absolute superstar of the day
Handled by Tim in the breed and me in groups at Nine Months of Age Aster went onto win Bitch CC Best Of Breed Best Puppy In Breed She was later shortlisted down to the final 8 in the adult toy group and placed 4th in the puppy group!

So so pleased with how this special Girl is going!

Half sister Lulu Nasabe Play The Game had to settle for 2nd behind her sister but later went back onto win the Toy/Terrier Puppy stakes!😍

Well what a hectic but absolutely amazing triple show weekend for our Girls!

Starting with Blackpool last Friday where after a long long long Journey after many closed roads 3 Girls pulled it out the bag to win all 3 of their classes! Minnie Ch Witchstone Minnehaha Went one step further and took Best Bitch and Best Of Breed her and her Daughter Lulu Nasabe Play The Game took Best Puppy In Breed Many Thanks to Breed Judge Charlotte Høier

The girls didn’t stop there both Minnie and Lulu excelled in the group rings Minnie Taking a nice shortlist in a quality Toy Group and after a rushed changed around to get lulu into the puppy group she finished up with a nice group 4 many thanks to group Judges Derfel John Owen and Sigurd Wilberg!

On Saturday we turned our attention to Wealdstone and Northolt open show where I was certainly called mad after not arriving home from Blackpool until the early hours just Hazel and I for this show and we only took two girls Lulu and Skyy and they doubled up again taking 2 1st this time was Lulus turn where went Best Of Breed AVNSC Best Puppy In Breed AVNSC and Did the group double many thanks to Judge Chris Van de Burgt for appreciating her quality 😊

And finishing off the hectic but successful weekend we went to Eastbourne and District Open show where Judge Steven Maskell Chose our beautiful Ch Witchstone Minnehaha as his Best Of Breed and Eventual Toy Group Winner! Minnie’s Daughter Lulu had to settle for Reserve Best Of Breed and Best Puppy and Topped it off with a group 2!

A weekend to remember 😍 Hazel , Colin and I appreciate all the wonderful ringside comments on our Girls and looked forward to catching up with everyone again soon 😊

What a Weekend for Nasabe!

🥇Lulu (Nasabe Play The Game) 🥇

Continued her winning ways and at Three Counties she Won BP AVNSC Reserve Best Bitch and Topped it off by Taking the Toy Puppy Group! Lulu is our 3rd Home bred Toy Puppy Group Winner at Championship Show Level and Hazel and I are both thrilled for her to not only achieve this she went one step further on the Saturday where we travelled to Ashfield and Notts Premier Open Show where Lulu Won ETT Junior BOB BPIB TG2 and TPG2 gaining her Final Point for her Junior warrant at the young age for 8.5 Months!

Although Lulu truly stole the show this weekend her Beautiful Dam Minnie Ch Witchstone Minnehaha Won BB & BOB AVNSC this is Minnie’s 12 BOB Adding to her 14CCs😍

We’re are so so proud of the Girls and Thank you so much Judges Stuart Payne , Andrew Stewart , Sue Hann , Wilma Sutherland for thinking so Highly of them this weekend 😊
