Evening all!
I’ve got lots of new likes and follows recently, so thought it was about time I introduced myself!
😁👋
I’m Holly, a Registered Veterinary Nurse, from and living in Blaenau Gwent, Wales.
I qualified from Abbeydale Vetlink with a Diploma in Small Animal Veterinary Nursing.

I’m currently working towards certificates in Canine Behaviour and Avian, Reptile & Amphibian, Small Mammal, Zoo and Wildlife Nursing.

Like most of us who ended up in this profession; I always knew I wanted to work with animals, and as soon as I experienced Veterinary practice at age 16, and saw the role that nurses play, I knew there and then that was what I wanted to be! Today I am incredibly proud of the Veterinary Nursing title, my fellow nurses and our role within the profession.
💚💚
I’ve been in practice since 2014 and in this time have worked in small animal first opinion, referral, charity and exotics practice; each with its own challenges, merits, and new skills to learn!

Prior to the events of 2020, I saw the important role that Community Nurses played in big cities, and other countries like Australia...I’ve always felt it important to have an active role within your community, and felt that maybe in the future, that would be mine. This past year has definitely kick-started my Community Nursing plans. Working in practice throughout the pandemic has really highlighted to me the need for Community Veterinary Nurses, and I’m incredibly excited to get out there and offer this service, and give the pets of our community the care they deserve!

PS.
A huge thankyou to everyone for all the likes and shares, the lovely reviews and kind words!
